Thanks to the old-school,open-ended RPG mechanicsofOblivion Remastered, there are some truly wacky builds players can put together if they focus on building specific stats. The 100% Reflect Damage build inOblivion Remasteredrequires some rare items, but becoming immune to damage and reflecting all incoming damage is worth the effort.
This guide explains what the Reflect Damage effects are, recommends a variety of Reflect Damage items and spells to raise your Reflect Damage to 100%, and lists Reflect Damage ingredients you can combine tomake Reflect Damage Potions.
What Does Reflect Damage Do In Oblivion Remastered?
TheOblivion RemasteredReflect Damage effect does two things: itreduces your incoming physical damage, and deals a percentage of damage back to the attacker. If you combine items to create a 100% Reflect Damage build inOblivion Remastered, you will essentially become both immune to physical damage and reflect 100% of all incoming physical damage to the attacker.
This does not reduce incoming Spell damage, as one would assume, but it also does not reduce damage taken from Arrows, fall damage, or trap damage.
To find your current Reflect Damage stat value,go to the Active Effects tabon the far right of the Spells screen and scroll down to the “Reflect Damage” listing. The strength of your current Reflect Damage effect is represented by the number in the far right column – this is the percentage of damage that will be reflected.
If you go above 100% Reflect Damage, the damage you reflect back to attackers is multiplied by that percentage instead. So, if you have 125% Reflect Damage, you will deal about 25% more damage back to your attacker than they dealt.
It’s a bit of a limited list when it comes to all Reflect Damage spells inOblivion Remastered. Because the game features custom spellmaking, as long as you have one of these two powers, you canmake a custom Reflect Damage spellat the Arcane University.
If you did not choose the Tower birthsign, you must enter the Shivering Isles and progress through Sheogorath’s questline until you get the Rebuilding the Gatekeeper quest, then follow the instructions listed above to activate the Reflect Damage effect. You must go to the Arcane University and create a custom spell with the Reflect Damage effect while it is active to permanently add it to your list of custom spell effects.
Reflect Damage Potion In Oblivion Remastered
Some Alchemy ingredients inOblivionRemasteredhave the Reflect Damage trait. When you combine at least two ingredients with the Reflect Damage effect, you will create a Reflect Damage Potion.
