Champions inLast Epochare a type of elite enemy that has received some special treatment. Apart from having modifiers like regular elites, these guys have special powers that can prove to be extremely deadly under the right circumstances.
Fortunately for players, high risk also means high reward, as killing Champions has a chance to drop gear with Champion Affixes. These items are very strong in the right hands, and if you want to get agood build going forLast Epoch, then nabbing one of these items is a sure way to get stronger early on. Here’s what you can expect from Champion items.
All Champion Affixes in Last Epoch
Champion Affixes work a lot like Sealed Affixes — they cannot be taken away or replaced, and they can’t be upgraded either. However, their effects come very close toUnique item territory, and players will be able to make strong leveling or early endgame builds just by using gear with these affixes.

How to Get Champion Items
Champion items havea chance to drop from their respective Champions, and they are exclusive to their respective Champions as well. This means you can’t get a Whirlpool Champion’s item from a Portal Champion and so on.
The drop rate for these items seems to be fairly decent, unlike Unique items that very rarely drop early on. Thankfully, Champions are marked on your minimap a sort of skull eye icon, so you’ll always know when one is nearby.
If youjoin the Circle of Fortune, you unlock a perk that gives you a 35% chance to get double the number of items from enemies. Meanwhile, the Weaver Endgame faction has a passive node that increases Champion spawn rates in Monolith of Fates Echoes.
