InNinja Gaiden 2 Black,Ninpo Abilitiesare special magic attacks that supplement the basic combat abilities of each playable character. Ryu begins the game with one Ninpo ability, and can unlock three more over the course of the game. To upgrade these abilities, Ryu will need to locate one ofNinja Gaiden 2 Black’s most important resources: the Jewel of the Demon Seal. This rare crafting material is found in various chests throughout the game. Here, we will walk you throughwhere you can find all eight Jewels of the Demon Seal inNinja Gaiden 2 Black.

Thefirst Jewel of the Demon Sealis found inNinja Gaiden 2 BlackChapter 3: Thunderclap of Catastrophe.
Jewel of the Demon Seal 1:
Thefirst Jewel of the Demon Seal inNG2Bis found immediately after dropping into the sewer area inChapter 3:Thunderclap of Catastrophe. There is a brief cutscene that shows a large monster enemy bursting forth from beneath the city, creating a massive hole in the street for Ryu to drop into. After dropping into the sewer, you’ll encounter a save point at the start of a hallway.
Head down the hallway and turn right, where you’ll find a dead body near the base of a ladder with red glowing lights. Examine the body to collect the first Jewel of the Demon Seal.
Jewel of the Demon Seal 2:
Thesecond Jewel of the Demon Sealis inChapter 4: A Captive Goddess. After you reach the second save point, which is not long after emerging at street level from the subway area, you’ll encounter a ladder that leads up to a freeway. The Jewel of the Demon Seal is found on a dead body just after reaching the top of the ladder.
Jewel of the Demon Seal 3:
The third Jewel of the Demon Seal is found duringChapter 6: The Aqua Capital. About two-thirds of the way through the chapter, you’ll encounter an outdoor courtyard covered in fog, with several foundations surrounding the fighting area. After dealing with the enemies, you’ll jump into a fountain, then through a large opening that leads to a long hallway. This is theWine Cellararea. Near the start of the hallway, there is a chamber to the left that contains aMuramasa Shop, and a chamber on the right, which is where the chest containing theJewel of the Demon Seal 3is found.
Jewel of the Demon Seal 4:
The fourth Jewel of the Demon Seal is found early inChapter 7: The Lycanthropes' Castle. After escaping the underground cave and reaching the first save point, you’ll find yourself entering a small dirt tunnel. There will be several small insect-like enemies in the tunnel, and a dead body. After taking out the enemies, examine the body to collectJewel of the Demon Seal 4.
Jewel of the Demon Seal 5:
The fifth Jewel of the Demon Seal is found inChapter 9: The Flying Fortress Daedalus. You’ll come across it very early in the chapter. After you land on the outer deck of the massive flying ship, the helicopter will destroy the weapon turrets, then get shot down. Once this occurs, you may make your way inside the plane.
Inside the first hanger, you’ll find the first Muramasa Shop along the wall. To the right of the shop is a sliding door. Head through the door and defeat the ninjas along the hallways. Head to the end of the right side of the hallway to find the chest that containsJewel of the Demon Seal 5.
Jewel of the Demon Seal 6:
Jewel of the Demon Seal 6is found inChapter 10: Submit, or Die! It is located in the train station area, within the train itself. After you clear the platform of enemies, you can enter the train. Head to the compartment to the right after entering. You should see Crystal Skull 20 at one end of the compartment. Head into the room at the opposite end, and interact with the dead body on the bead to find the jewel.
Jewel of the Demon Seal 7:
Jewel of the Demon Seal 7is found mid-way throughChapter 12: Heart of Darkness. After reaching the third save point, down in the underground area, the second combat encounter will be a large pond filled with massive demon koi fish. If you cross the pond, then stand on the ramp where the arm-cannon demons had been standing, you’ll be able to look back and see a chest hidden in a small cavity carved out of a tree. The jewel is found within the chest.
Jewel of the Demon Seal 8:
The final Jewel of the Demon Seal is located in the massive cavern with flying demons. After reaching the second save point, follow the main path until a cutscene begins marking the entrance to the cavern.
Make your way down the large set of stairs, then pass through the gate at the bottom. After the gate, you’ll find what appears to be a large stone button on the ground. If you perform a jump, then a heavy attack, you’re able to slam the Dragon Sword down, activating the button.
Pushing the button will cause a massive ribcage to descend over the edge of the cliff, with some kind of netting that you’re able to walk on. Walk out onto the netting and loot the dead body to findJewel of the Demon Seal 8.
