The Tezcatepetonco Range is an area that is home of the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe inGenshin Impact. It is a rocky mountainous region with colours that cover its landscape, and with it comes hidden rewards for players to uncover.
These rewards come inthe form of hidden chests, and like most regions in Natlan,Genshin Impactalways offers interesting ways to locate these hidden chests. Whether it’s using mechanics specific to the region or simply pulling out some flowers, players are likely to earn some additional rewards after findingall the hidden chests in Tezcatepetonco Range.
Tezcatepetonco Hidden Chest #1
The first chest is relatively easy and requires players to use the nightsoul graffiti that can be found around the region. You’ll need to teleport to the waypointnorthof the Statue of Seven (the one located at the top of the mountain). From there, turn around and head towards the hot air balloon you see with the baby Tepetlisaurus on it.
You’ll either need to use the Iktomisaurus nearby or equip a character from the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe and grab the ink painting of the rock behind the balloon. It’s basically located on the wall of the mountain. Once you grab it, place it on the deck so that the hot air balloon lowers. The baby Tepetlisaurus will then disembark and go to its friend. You’ll receive a chest after that.
Tezcatepetonco Hidden Chest #2
Teleport to the waypointfar westof the Masters of the Night-Wind tribal area and turn around to head towards the shoreline. You’ll see an NPC nearby named Jonvelle, and behind him in the water will be some birds that he requires help capturing. Use the nearby Iktomisaurus skill ora Masters of the Night-Wind characterto grab the paintings on the rocks in the water. These paintings are actually floaties that you may use to trap the birds.
verify to accurately position themon top of the birdto trap it. Once you trap all of them, you’ll receive a precious chest and a hidden achievement as well.
Tezcatepetonco Hidden Chest #3
For this one, teleport to the waypointsouthwest from the Statue of Sevenand headsouth on the maptowards the valley. You’ll notice some rock formation and some floating colors, which can be used to paint the rock. All you need to do is use the red colored swatch to paint the first rock.It needs to depict the bird that is located next to it.
You’ll receive a remarkable chest when you’re done.
Tezcatepetonco Hidden Chest #4
Head towards the Statue of Seven on Quahuacan Cliff and thensouthwest towards the waterfall. Glide down towards the middle of the mountain until you see graffiti arrows painted across the mountain.You’ll need a bow character for this one, and you’ll need to hit the device each arrow is pointing to. Simply follow the order, and once you’re done, a remarkable chest will spawn next to you.

This next chest can be found in Tecoloapan Bay. Teleport to the waypoint in the area and head towards the other side of the island. Simply run straight ahead and across the water towards the mountain wall with graffiti arrows.
You’ll need to use the Iktomisaurus skill to grab the painting from behind the donut-shaped rock. Then, you have to place it in the hole to your right. The painting is actually a chest, and it will unlock once you place it in the hole.

This chest is also on Tecoloapan Bay, but it is located slightlysouthof the island. Just head to the location in the above-indicated image, and you’ll see a graffiti drawing of a chest located inside a small cave.
Use the Iktomisaurus skill to grab it and place it on the cart. The chest will only unlock if it’s properly placed on the cart, and you can claim the rewards afterward.

These hidden chests are quite tough to get to, as they come with a hidden achievement and a luxurious chest upon completion. There aretwolocations you need to go to complete this, but the hidden quest will be triggered at the location in the above image.
You can teleport to the waypointin the middle of the Masters of the Night-Windtribe and then glide into the cavern below you to find it. You’ll immediately be able to spot a well-furnished seating area with a purple carpet and a viewpoint above the seat. It will be positioned in front of a mural depicting a bird.
Once you grab the viewpoint and sit down, the dialogue will automatically start, and the mural will give you two locations to visit and solve some puzzles. The next set of hidden chests are technically hidden, as they will be located in this underground realm that is only accessible through portals in the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe.
