By leveraging high-skill movement techniques and aids like wall jumping/boosting, Gravity Cannons, and Octane’s Jump Pad, players can utilize Sparrow’s Passive to easily maneuver around the environment to get behind enemy teams and escape damage or spring surprise attacks. The cooldown period for hisPassive ability is much smaller than Ash’s, making it easier to utilize in tight situations.
However, one could argue that Sparrow’s Double Jump is slightly inferior and requires more skill to play around with since he seems to hover a little (akin toOctane’s Jump Pad), making him an easier target while in the air. Sparrow also has a Passive ability which allows him to gain an additional ten arrows with the Bocek, making it a prime choice of weapon for the Legend. It also allows him to carry extra exploding arrows once they are crafted.
Sparrow’s Tactical Tracker Darts Are Even Better In Combination With the Hunt Target Perk
As a bounty hunter andRecon-Class Legend, Sparrow specializes in tracking enemies and his Tactical Ability. He fires a tracker dart that scans the location for enemies and tags them once they come into its line of sight. Although this sounds similar to many Recon-Class Legends, what sets him apart is his ability to scan distant locations without hindering his movement speed. When tagged opponents stand still, they are harder to detect, but when in motion, a trail follows that is visible even through obstructions.
Any tagged enemies at least 40m away will only show a distance marker atop the enemy’s head. With Sparrow’s LVL 2 Hunt Target Perk, which gives him a speed boost when running towards a marked enemy, Sparrow is great for initiating surprise attacks, as it grants players a massive movement positional advantage. When combined with his Passive Double Jump, Sparrow’s nifty movement can be a nightmare in the right hands.
Sparrow’s Tracker Darts Should Be Strategically Placed
Sparrow’s Tracker Darts should always be placed in hidden locations like the corners of walls to prevent them from being easily spotted by enemy teams. Despite its immense utility, opposing teams inApex Legendscan destroy the Tracker Darts if and when found, so hiding them strategically will allow Sparrow players to make the most of them.
Sparrow’s Tactical can remotely accessSurvey Beaconsby activating them with the Tracker Darts from a range. However, utilizing them from far distances requires some marksmanship, since there is a bit of a drop-off in the dart’s trajectory once it is airborne.
Sparrow’s Ultimate Stinger Bolt Should Take Up As Much Space As Possible
Sparrow’s Ultimatefires a large arrow that can anchor to any surface, dealing damage and slowing down enemy Legends caught in its radius. Since it is a single arrow, deciding where to fire it might be decisive in battle. It is most effective when deployed against the enemy team in open space, but players can also get creative by anchoring to the ceiling in closed spaces. In combination with the LVL 3 Life Siphon Perk, Sparrow gets healed and recovers shield charge every time the enemy teams take damage from the Stinger Bolt.
