Now, Ubisoft has released the lengthy Title Update 1.0.4 forAssassin’s Creed Shadows, which is already available for all platforms. The main highlight of the update is the new “The Works of Luis Frois” story, which will allow gamers to learn more about the Jesuits as they encounter Luis Frois and protect Lady Satoko.AC Shadowsalso received a new Codex update, and character bios have been added to the database, helping gamers to remember important NPCs. Apart from these additions, the patch fixed dozens of bugs, ranging from general bugs to graphic glitches or issues specific to some platforms.
Fortunately, fans still have much to look forward to in the next updates for Ubisoft’s latest release. Last month,Ubisoft unveiled the official road map forAssassin’s Creed Shadows, detailing what’s coming up in the next few months. In late May, for example, gamers can expect a new update focused on improving parkour and the addition of Photo Mode, while in June, the title will get more difficulty settings, a free new quest will be added, and more. Sometime later in 2025, the “Claws of Awaji” expansion will be released.
Some recent rumors even indicated thatAssassin’s Creed Shadowscould eventually get a multiplayer mode. According to dataminers, the game’s files indicate mentions of multiplayer and PvP maps. However, Ubisoft has not confirmed that this feature will be added at the time of this report.
Other rumors indicate thatnineAssassin’s Creedgames could be released in the next six years, marking a busy release cycle for the franchise. While some of these titles include remakes, like the long-rumoredAC4: Black Flagremake, this is still an impressive number, and it includes some projects fans already know about, such asAssassin’s Creed Hexe, as well as other more mysterious projects, such as a multiplayer game.

New Free Story Pack: The Works of Luis Frois
An encounter with Luis Frois at a Jesuit Mission turns into an opportunity to help an old friend. Retrieve lost notes, protect Lady Satoko and learn more about the Jesuits in this new Free Story Pack playable with both Naoe or Yasuke.
To meet with Luis Frois and start the quest arc, head to Azuchi. Luis will be located south of the Merchants’ Quarters. The quest will be available upon completing “The Path he Walks”, in Yasuke’s Board.
