There are tons of items to find while playing throughBaldur’s Gate 3’scampaign, and there’s one particular set of items in Act 2 that many players are bound to miss: the Flawed Helldusk Armour set. As its name suggests, this set is of infernal origin, and as such, you need materials straight from Avernus in order to get its pieces.

Getting the Flawed Helldusk Armour set is simple, but it’s also easy to miss, especiallyif you’re doing Karlach’s questline. You can get pieces of the Flawed Helldusk Armour by speaking with Dammon, the blacksmith of Zevlor’s Tiefling refugee group, once you reach Last Light Inn in Act 2. He doesn’t sell these armor pieces, though — instead,you need to show him pieces of Infernal Iron.

If you have a piece of Infernal Iron with you, there will be some dialogue options where you can ask Dammon to make something out of the Infernal Iron pieces. If you give him the materials, he’ll give you the following items in order:

Are The Flawed Helldusk Armour Pieces Good?

Absolutely. These are rare Heavy Armour pieces that each have unique effects:

Out of all these pieces,the Gloves are arguably the best. They’re great for non-spellcasters, and they’re especially strong for Monk characters. However, keep in mind that the +1d4 Fire damage bonus does not stack with similar bonuses, such as the onefrom the Everburn Blade.

Infernal Iron has no other use apart from helping Karlach and crafting Flawed Helldusk Armour pieces (apart from selling them, of course). It’s better to use your Infernal Iron to craft these pieces instead of saving them for later.
