Asreported by GameBiz, Bandai Namco’s digital segment saw 995.1% profit growth in the fiscal year ending in March 2025. Much of those sales came from a few key titles, most notably, an uptick in gamers buyingElden Ringcontent. Elden Ring and Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Drive a 995.1% Profit Increase for Bandai Namco

Elden Ringwasn’t Bandai Namco’s only major success, though. According to the earnings report,Dragon Ball: Sparking Zerosold 5.4 million copies during the period to help drive profits even higher. Those sales figuresmadeDragon Ball: Sparking Zerothe fastest-sellingDragon Ballconsole titleto date and the third-highest-selling Bandai Namco game of all time.

Looking ahead, the company expects a decline in sales and profits for the next fiscal year. That could be just a matter of Bandai Namco recognizing that a near-1,000% profit increase is unlikely to happen again, even with a strong lineup. Still, the company has some big titles in the works for fans to look forward to.
