Fontaine is the region of law and justice, where the people worship Focalors, the Hydro Archon inGenshin Impact. As Fontaine is associated with Hydro, the nation is surrounded by water as it should be, and Travelers can evenexplore underwater areasafter completing certain tasks.
Aside from uncovering hidden treasure chests around the region, players can also collect Hydroculus to be offered to the Statue of the Seven in Fontaine. In the Belleau Region, there are 17 Hydroculus to be collected, both aboveground and underwater. Most of the Hydroculus in this guide are not locked behind any quests, so even new players won’t have any difficulty collecting them.

Start with theStatue of the Seven in Romaritime Harborandhead southwest. Glide downwards toward a ship, and you can get a Hydroculus on top of the ship.

Return to theStatue of the Seven and walk forwardto the Hydroculus right in front. If there is no Aquabus in sight, approach the chair on the side and choose the option to ‘wait for the aquabus’. Once it arrives, you’re able to step on the aquabus to reach the Hydroculus.

Teleport to theDenouement of Sin Domainand climb the mountain to get to the Hydroculus at the top.

Go to theunderwater waypoint southwest of the West Slopes of Mont Automnequi(the waypoint that leads to theEmperor of Fire and Iron boss). Once you arrive, enter the water in the northwest to get to the Hydroculus.

After you’re done with the underwater area, use theground-level waypoint southwest of the West Slopes of Mont Automnequi. Walk southeast to the small island to find a Hydroculus beside a Hilichurl Rogue.

From the previous spot,head southwest to a ship.There will be another Hydroculus on top of the ship.

Return to thewaypoint southwest of the West Slopes of Mont Automnequiand climb the mountain to the north so you can reach the Oculus at the top.

From the previous position on top of the mountain,glide east towards the roofof a small house. On top of the house, there will be a small teleportation bubble you can use to reachthe floating Hydroculusin the air.

Now, teleport to thewaypoint north of the West Slopes of Mont Automnequi. Jump down to the front and enter the aquabus tunnel to find a Hydroculus on top of the water. Use a tall character to jump over and glide towards the Oculus.

Return to the previous waypoint andclimb the mountain on the southeast. Once at the top of the mountain, use an Anemo skill on the windmill mechanism to create a wind current. Open your glider to float and get the Hydroculus at the top.

Use theunderground waypoint in Poissonand head further inside the cave to the pool. Enter the pool of water to find a Hydroculus.

From the previous spot, climb back up to the ground and head further inside the Poisson cave to thehuge ship. Climb to the top of the ship to get the Hydroculus.

Teleport to theunderground waypoint in Poissonagain and turn around to use the bubble teleportation to reach the above ground. Up there, climb the ship to the top to reach the Hydroculus. There are many holes in the shipwreck, so proceed with caution, or you might fall off the ship and need to try again from the start.

From the previous spot,glide northeast to the tall buildingwith the Pneumousia Relay puzzle on the ground.Complete the puzzleso that a teleportation bubble will appear, and you can use it to reach the Hydroculus on top of the building.

From the previous spot at the top of the building,glide to the northwestto another Oculus on the rooftop of a small house near the shore.

Head southwest and get in the water, then swim in the same direction to find the Hydroculus beside the coral.

The last Hydroculus in the Belleau Region is in anunderwater ruin south of the East Slopes of Mont Automnequi. You can reach this area by teleporting to theWaterfall Wen Domainand heading east to the Waverider Waypoint. Then, dive into the water before swimming to the west to enter the cave. The puzzle in this underwater cavern belongs to theSearch In The Algae Sea Quest, so it’s best if you do it along so you can reach the Hydroculus much easily.
