There are 15 Daedric Artifacts that players can obtain inOblivion Remastered, and while some of them can be useful, others are great as relics to show how the hero is a champion of all Daedric Princes. Players will eventually have to give one up in the main questline.
The Blood of the Daedra quest in Oblivion Remastered will force players to surrender a Daedric Artifact of their choice to Martin to continue the quest, and it might be hard to make a decision. Luckily, we know all Daedric Artifacts in Oblivion Remastered, and the best ones to get rid of.
The Best Daedric Artifacts to Give to Martin in Oblivion Remastered
After players have reached the 10th main quest in Oblivion Remastered, Blood of the Daedra, they are tasked with acquiring one of the 15 Daedric Artifacts available at any shrine. After which, players must present a Daedric Artifact of their choice to Martin at the Cloud Ruler Temple, but whatever Daedric Artifact players choose, itwill be lost permanently. Luckily, out of the 15 Daedric Artifacts, there are a few that are worth giving away.
Players should always give Martin the Daedric Artifact that does not suit their playstyle, however,Sanguine Rose is one of the easiest items to get rid ofsimply because it’s a tad useless. Sanguine Rose is the reward for completing theSanguine’s Shrine Quest, found in the north region of Skingrad. The reason Sanguine Rose is a good weapon to get rid of is that it’s a two-handed staff that, when fired at enemies, will summon a small Daedra enemy. However, the Daedra enemy doesn’t do much damage, despawns after 20 seconds, and immediately becomes hostile to the staff’s wielder when the target is dead.
Alternatively,Volendrung is a weapon players should give to Martin. Volendrung is the two-handed blunt weapon obtained fromMalacath’s Shrine Quest, found north of Anvil. Volendrung isn’t very good as a weapon, as its enchantments, swing speed, and damage are not worth the whopping 60 points in carry weight, so players should unload this heavy burden as soon as they can.
A third item players might want tobe rid of is the Ring of Khajiiti. This ring is obtained fromMeridia’s Shrine Quest, started in the west region of Skingrad. While it’s a semi-decent ring, the enchantments to Fortify Speed (10 points) and have Chameloen (35%) isn’t worth it unless players are trying for a100% Chameleon build, as these enchantments can be crafted elsewhere and do not require such a ring that is going to waste a jewelry slot in the late-game.

Truthfully, players will have to decide for themselves whether the Daedric Artifact is worth getting rid of, depending on the factors of their playstyle. If they are happy with their weapons, then be rid of one of them, and the same goes for armor pieces.
The Worst Daedric Artifacts to Give to Martin in Oblivion Remastered
It’s nearly essential that playersdo not give Martin the Skeleton Keyfrom theNocturnal’s Shrine Quest. The Skeleton Key is found on the north road of Leyawiin, and the Skeleton Key itself is an unbreakable lockpick that will remain important throughout the game, as it will provide players with unlimited attempts at lockpicking. This means that if they are struggling to lockpick, they can just spam the auto-complete with no repercussions, since the Skeleton Key cannot break.
It’s also a bad idea to sell Azura’s Star fromAzura’s Shrine Quest, as even though this is the Daedric Artifact that the Blood of the Daedra mission directs players to obtain, it’s also one of the most important. Azura’s Star is essentially an infinite Soul Gem, which will not break after use, meaning players can constantly fill it up with souls, use it on enchanted weapons, and then fill it up again.
