Summary
The Precinctis one of the bestpolice-themed gamesfor players to test the waters with. Players will take control of a rookie cop, and in the opening intro, they will learn they have some big shoes to fill. The game offers players all manner of law enforcement mechanics, including how to arrest criminals correctly, rather than gunning down bad guys.
Players will be earning tokens they can use to acquire upgrades throughout the game, and investing these tokens in the correct areas can make players more effective and/or make the game more enjoyable — especially forthe longer shifts.

Live Long Enough to Make It to the Late Game
Some players may have no trouble with maintaining their health by knowing exactly when to pop up from behind cover or from executing proper maneuvers to stay untouched. However, players still learning the game will find this upgrade to greatly boost their survivability.
Players can hold off on getting it until they actually start to struggle and allow other upgrades to take priority for now. Spending tokens on other upgrades first will allow players to get the most out of their earned tokens until they find themselves being taken down more often.

Lets Players Keep Going When They’d Normally Slow Down
Timed Breath will be invaluable when players need to pursue a target on foot. Stamina is a major element of the game, one that should not be overlooked. When it comes to apprehending perps, players will need to chase them down on foot a lot of the time.
Running out of stamina in any game feels bad, especially when it means a player suddenly slows down to a sluggish pace while they keep trying to cover more distance. The Timed Breath upgrade lets players regain stamina while they are sprinting by hitting a button prompt at the right moment.

A Larger Stamina Pool Means Shorter Chase Downs
As one can see, the Physical category is something they should invest heavily in it for the early parts of the game. Timed Breath alone will not be enough, and players should pick this up to ensure fast apprehensions on the streets.
Increasing players' staminaalongside having Timed Breath will prevent them from feeling the weight of having insufficient stamina. This will give players a much more enjoyable experience.
4Ammo Belt
Extra Ammo Is Always A Good Thing In Any Game With Guns
There are two reasons players will want to pick this up. First is for its core benefit of increasing carried ammo by 50%. This means for every 2 bullets players used to have, they now have 1 more.
Even with this upgrade, players will find themselves with single-digit ammo numbers after gunfights. The second benefit comes from progressing the Combat category so they can pick up the next entry on this list, Thick Skin.
3Thick Skin
As players progress through the game, they will encounter a lot more gang violence. This means there will be a lot more damage to soak up. Damage does not come from just gunfights, and players will find themselveswithin striking range of many criminals.
This upgrade adds another layer to their defense on top of their health increase from the Physical category. Being able to survive anything the game can throw at players early on, means being able to live long enough to see the harder parts later on.
2Commandeer
This Helps a Lot When Not Investing in the Vehicle Category
The vehicle tree does not give players a lot of value early on, but it will be useful when things get harder. However, this means players may find themselves wrecking their squad cards and in need of some new wheels.
Having this upgrade means being able to get right back into the chase without heavily investing in the vehicle tree early on. This upgrade lets players have an easier time getting their hands on cars they normally could not get their hands on.
1Max Support Tokens +
Calling in Backup Will Not Be Possible if Players Run Out of Tokens
The Combat and Policing categories for player upgrades will help a little during the early game. However, they will help a lot more for the mid and late parts of the game. Vehicles will not be that important early on, but players willwant to earn a lot of XPlate into the game to bump up this category.
During the initial tutorial, players will be able to call in support. They will not be able to just do this at any time and will need tospend special Support Tokens. Getting the hang of calling in support will help out a lot later on, but it can also make some early shifts.
Players that make use of calling in support a lot will want to pick up the Riot Van Support upgrade later on in the game.
