Loggerhead is a 5-star Arcanist inReverse: 1999who falls under the Plant Afflatus. She deals Mental DMG and works well as a debuff and healer. Although she is a 5-star, she’s a great character to build incase players get her.
She has a variety of skills that cover Poison and Burn effects, making her agreat Support for many teams. For a 5-star, she’s on par with the other 6-stars inReverse: 1999. All you need to do is make sure she uses the correct Psychubes when you use her. Here’s everything you need to know aboutLoggerhead’s skills and build.
Loggerhead’s skills are very easy to understand. Her first skill deals debuff to an enemy and inflicts random effects of [Collection of Neg Status] on the enemy. Her second skill is a counter that grants [Memory Replay] to certain enemies. Her ultimate is what players need to look out for as it deals damage to all enemiesandinflicts [Collection of Neg Status] at random intervals.
Her [Collection of Neg Status] may be themost important status effect as it carries Rigidity, Poison, and Burn. The best part about it is that she prioritizes the effect that has yet to be applied, and continuously inflicts damage on the enemy. Her [Memory Replay] effect is also good too, since it buffs the damage taken reduction stat. It also inflicts a random effect from Loggerhead’s [Collection of Neg Status] if an enemy attacks an ally while the effect is active.
Blasphemer of Nightis your best option for Loggerhead’s Psychube. It capitalises on [Neg Status], so Loggerhead can essentially apply 2 stacks of it for that DMG Dealt Bonus. Her next best option isYour Friendly Exorcistand this is purely because it works well as a Support option. It’s been debated that Loggerhead’s damage is not the most important skill to be mindful of, so using this Psychube depends on how you want to use her.
If you plan to use Loggerhead mainly for healing,That Inquisitive Dearis your go-to option. It’s what most healers use, except Loggerhead makes better use of it since the Psychube works in tandem with her debuff effects. If you need a substitute for Blasphemer of Night,Yearning Desireis your next best option. It also applies [Neg Status] and is much easier to acquire than the other.
When it comes to resonance build, Loggerhead’s one can be kept simple. If you have Delirament (Generalised), stick to that until more information is released on Loggerhead’s best Resonance pattern. This is purely because she runs on three types of effects, and it can be a little difficult finalizing one for the time being.
Theoretically, Loggerhead is great in any team, but because of her [Poison], [Burn], and [Rigidity] effects, it’s more advisable to slot her into those mono teams.
Without a doubt, Loggerhead is made for a [Rigidity] team. She’s also especially good with characters who share the same Plant Afflatus with her.Noire is a great DPS option to slot in, with Druvis as Sub DPS and Kakania on healer. If you don’t have Kakania, you can swap her out for Sotheby - but you’ll need to have obtained her Euphoria for the synergy to properly work.
Loggerhead will essentially work as a healer here, but you can take her as Support for Jessica as well. The both of them synergize really well as Jessica will be able to continuously apply Burn and Petrify, due to Loggerhead’s [Rigidity] effect. An An Lee also applies [Rigidity], [Burn], and [Poison], so you’ll have tripled the effects on the team. Jessica will work as the DPS, An An Lee and Satsuki on Sub DPS/Sustain.
Loggerhead and Liang Yue release on the same banner, and chances are you’ll get one or the other. The best thing is that they work surprisingly well together. Liang Yue has effects that benefit from [Burn] and [Poison], whereas Mercuria works in tandem with Liang Yue as one of her best partners. She buffs the team tremendously, so it’s a must to have her if you’re using Liang Yue. Lastly, 6 can be used as a debuffer. If you don’t have 6, feel free to use any other debuff character.
This is also a team you can try out if you have the characters. Loggerhead willbe your debuff along with Tuesday. J and Ms. NewBabel is essentially your DPS/Sub DPS - depending on who you want to use in which slot. But, you need to remember that although Ms. NewBabel does provide a shield, so you need to keep using Loggerhead’s skills. Her healing is based on the number of debuffs she places, so the more you do it, the more healing percentage you get. It might be better to wait for Ms. NewBabel’s Euphoria so that your damage with J is increased, as for now the damage output is a little lower than expected.
