Beruis the shadowof the Ant King. Like most members of Jinwoo’s shadow army, he is fiercely loyal to him and is always eager to prove his worth in battle. His dry humor and bizarre antics make him an entertaining yet unpredictable presence, adding more drama and hilarity to even tense moments.
Beru, like Ant King, is incredibly powerful and can take down even top hunters. Among Sung Jinwoo’s shadow army, only Bellion and Igris are strong enough to challenge him.
7Kandiaru
Boss of Double Dungeon
Also known as the Architect,Kandiaruis the creator of the System. He is one of the key villains in the series because of his frighteningly malicious and meticulous planning. His psychopathic tendencies, coupled with narcissism, make him a truly unsettling presence.Apart from being intelligent, Kandiaru is extremely powerful.
He could easily defeat even top-ranking S-rankers and even pushed Jinwoo to fight at his best when the two crossed paths. While the manhwa has quite a few villains, Kandiaru’s far-sightedness and cold intellect instill a fear that surpasses most.

America’s Strongest Hunter
Thomas Andreis a National Level Hunterwho became popular following the first S-rank dungeon break and the epic battle with Kamish that followed. As one of the strongest hunters in the world, his political influence is comparable to that of an entire nation.
Like most National Level Hunters, Andre is prideful and violent. But he is also humble in defeat and respectful towards those who earn his admiration. His ability to set his ego aside and accept that he is just another person to serve the greater good makes him a character worth looking up to. While Thomas is far from perfect, his character development has a lot to teach.

King of Dragons
Frightening, cold, calculative, and self-assured,Antaresis a perfect villainwho has faith in his evil schemes and is willing to go to any lengths to get what he wants. As one of the most powerful characters in the series, his influence is vast, instilling fear even in some extremely dangerous monsters.
Destroy everything. That is the only mission bestowed upon us.
What separates Antares from any other villain that Jinwoo encounters is his aura of near-invincibility. Despite acquiring god-like powers, Sung even fears defeat and is aware of how dangerous the Monarch of Destruction can be.

Go Gunheeis one of the most respectedhunters in Korea and is widely referred to as the S-rank among S-ranks. Despite his old age, he appears to have an unquenchable thirst for battle and frequently bemoans the fact that he can no longer fight magic beasts.
Gunhee’s dedication to Koreaand humanity’s future is unrivaled. His strong sense of justice, coupled with inspiring leadership, makes him stand out as a character.
3Ashborn
Monarch of Shadows
King of the Dead,Ashbornis one of the strongest characters in the manhwa. Despite being a Monarch, he did not look down on human beings and was tired of the endless conflict.
Ashborn went against his own race with the hope of ensuring lasting peace following the end of the war that had been waged for eons. Being arguably the most powerful being in existence, his strength was only rivaled by Antares.
2Cha Hae-In
Asia’s Best Female Hunter
Cha Hae-Inis a former star track athletewho was forced to retire following an injury. Sometime after that, she underwent awakening and became a hunter. Cha Hae-In eventually became Korea’s 9th S-rank hunter and joined the Hunters Guild. She served in the hunter organization as the vice guild master and is considered somewhat stronger than even the leader, Choi Jong-In.

Cha Hae-In’s strong personality and kind nature make her stand out among other hunters, who are otherwise quite harsh, self-centered, or egotistical. Despite having achieved so much at such a young age, she never let success get to her head and treated other hunters with respect. But when things get rough, there are very few who can fight like her. These characteristics make Cha Hae-In an interesting character that Solo Leveling fans can’t get enough of.
1Sung Jinwoo
Korea’s Strongest Hunter
Sung Jinwoo’s journey from humanity’s weakesthunter to one of the world’s strongest combatants is inspiring. He might have been lucky to be bestowed with powers beyond his wildest imagination followingthe Double Dungeon disaster, but even before that, he was a selfless person willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good.
Jinwoo always prioritized his family and frequently put his life on the line just to make enough money to support his loved ones financially. He even volunteered to die on the altar for his comrades in the Cartenon Temple. Sung might have amassed godlike powers later in the series, but all these events preceded his transformation, which speaks volumes about his character.
Even after the System helped Jinwooevolve constantly at a frightening pace, his values never truly changed. He still prioritized his family and even cleared an S-rank instant dungeon to help his mother recover from her coma. In the Jeju Island arc, he rescued Korean hunters by defeating the Ant King, saving countless lives in the process. It should not come as a surprise then that Jinwoo’s heroics have impressed countless fans around the world, and he has become one of the most loved action anime protagonists.
