Alongside the Thieves Guild, there are plenty of other guilds for the player to join. One great example that players should consider joining instead of focusing on the main story is the Mages Guild. The Mages Guild first encourages the player to explore, as they will need a recommendation from every Mages Guild building across the map before they can finally enter the Arcane University.
Besides the interesting quest line, when within the Arcane University, players will finally have access toenchanting their own gearas well as making their own spells, which can then be used during the main quest.
4Go Visit The Arena
Bet On Fighters Or Become One Themselves
If players have money to waste and are looking for some entertainment, then they don’t need to look any further than the Arena in the Imperial City. During the day, players can bet on a color and watch the competition take place in the arena as two competitors battle it out.
Some players may even wish not to waste their money, but instead help others watching the arena games make some money by becoming a competitor in the games themselves. This is another great faction ofOblivion Remasteredthat players are sure to enjoy as they fight to the death against others.
3Level Up Major And Minor Skills
Players Should Take A Moment To Get Stronger
Besides taking part in various side quests and guilds, players can also take the time to level up their character to give themselves more of a challenge when tackling the main story. When players startOblivion Remasteredfor the first time, they get to choose seven major skills that will level faster than others. By leveling these skills, the player also increases the level of their character.
Therefore, taking a moment tolevel up some easier skillswill allow the player to increase their level and, therefore, start fighting foes with better armor and weapons, which they can then steal for themselves. This will also mean players will fight a wider variety of foes due to being given the harder ones as they level.
2Take A Trip To The Dark Side
The Dark Brotherhood Is Something To Experience
The Thieves Guild isn’t the only morally questionable guild the player can join, with the Dark Brotherhood hunting down the player to recruit them once they have killed an innocent person. Once again, the supposed hero ofOblivion Remasteredcan take a walk on the more evil side of things and therefore become a member of the Dark Brotherhood, where they are tasked with assassinating certain people.
The questline for this guild is arguably one of the best in the game, as well as being perfect for any player hoping to roleplay a hero who should’ve stayed in prison.

Those who played the original title but never got around to the DLCs will have plenty of new quests to complete, from houses to decorate to one of the best DLCs beingThe Shivering Isles. Players will have an entirely new map to explore, as well as meet the much-loved Sheogorath.
