Summary
Knowing how expansive the map inOnce Humanis, crafting a vehicle as soon as possible is one of the important priorities. There are many vehicle models available in the game, but the player still faces a bunch of options, and it puts them in a dilemma of whether to save resources for higher-tier vehicles or proceed with whatever they can afford.
The Motorcycle is the first vehicle that players receive for free, but the rest of the options should be crafted, and some of them are locked behind specific structures and Memetics skills, which makes it impossible for players to lay their hands on those vehicles without making some serious progress in the server’s scenario.
Infinite Range And Zero Maintenance Cost
Players who receive the Motorcycle for free in the Manibus scenario might not see a reason tocraft the Feet, as it’s simply a bicycle that moves even slower than the Motorcycle. However, Feet is a vehicle for having some fun, and it’s also pretty useful for players who hate searching for fuel gallons. So, while it’s slower, the Feet does come with an infinite range!
Other than being fuel-free, the Feet also comes with some stunt capabilities. Multiple players can ride the same bicycle and do some insane stunts while exploring theOnce Humanworld. These stunt moves are also quite helpful for bypassing obstacles. One of the stunt moves lets the player perform a high jump with the bicycle, which is quite useful for climbing up mountains or rough terrains.
Last but not least, the Feet is quite cheap to craft. All the player needs to own the bicycle is Metal Scrap, and 20 units of it would be enough. The Feet can be crafted in the entry-tier garage.
A Good Starter For PvE Scenarios
TheMotorcycleonly beats the Feet when moving on soft terrain and paved roads. It is a pretty reliable starter vehicle, but not recommended at all for PvP scenarios, as the player can be targeted quite easily while moving around. Even NPCs can deal serious damage when running away from them.
However, the Motorcycle is a good small vehicle for going inside outposts and creating shortcuts, especially for players who are quite familiar with the missions and scenarios, and know exactly what they need to do, without having to deal with extra problems.
The Motorcycle comes with up to 5 upgrade tiers, which is the most among all available vehicles. The fifth upgrade makes it even faster than a Retro Coupe, while increasing the durability to 4,000, which is almost equal to that of the Retro Coupe. So, when it comes to PvE scenarios, the Motorcycle is indeed one of the best vehicles to own and upgrade.
4Trailer Head
Trailer Head is the most demanding vehicle in the game and the slowest one at the same time. The main purpose of this vehicle is to participate in Prime Wars for those who play the Evolution’s Call scenario. However, that doesn’t negate it for PvE players. Trailer Head is more than just a means of traversal, but rather a mobile base of operations for players.
The good thing about Trailer Head is that it gives players a large space to build on top. First and foremost, it can be a mobile spawn point, which is quite useful for trying difficult missions, where the chances of dying are greater than surviving. Moreover, the player can fortify it with defensive weapons and take it next to enemies to take them down much more easily.
The customizability of the vehicle is its major selling point in thePvE scenarios. Trailer Head requires the Large Garage skill from the Memetics tree, and it certainly requires a significant amount of progress in the game to meet the level requirements.
Lightning Fast But Only For Paved Roads
For those who prefer speed to everything,Retro Coupeis the vehicle to aim for inOnce Human. It’s by far the fastest vehicle in the game, and fully upgrading it will make it even faster than a top-tier Motorcycle. That being said, handling is what the players will sacrifice for higher speed.
Retro Coupe is a vehicle for paved roads. There is no reason to drive it over rough terrain, as the car will probably crash multiple times, hitting rocks or any other bumpy surface. The durability is also not good enough to drive the car carelessly. It’s almost equal to the durability of a fully upgraded Motorcycle, but each hit with the Retro Coupe will cost more durability compared to the Motorcycle, as it has more weight.
With all that, Retro Coupe is still a good choice for PvP games, especially when players want to get away from critical situations or get rid of other players chasing them down.
Solid Mobile Home For Solo Players
Similar to Trailer Head, the Turbo Pickup is also a vehicle that players can build structures on top of, making it a mobile home or base of operations. It provides less space than Trailer Head, but it’s twice as fast, offering much better handling, even better than Retro Coupe.
Turbo Pickup is a much better option for solo players compared to Trailer Head, though it doesn’t provide access toPrime Wars. That being said, the car is still slow, and probably wouldn’t be the best option for long travels, especially if the terrain is not suitable for a heavy vehicle.
Speaking of Turbo Pickup’s benefits, though, it has the highest durability after Trailer Head, which makes it a pretty sturdy vessel in the game for surviving some chaotic scenes.
A Jack-Of-All Trades For Larger Squads
As the name implies, the All-Terrain Vehicle is the best option for players who don’t care about roads that much. Most of the time, the shortest route to reach the destination is to drive through rough terrain like spiky mountains or deep valleys, and the All-Terrain is a suitable vehicle for this type of travel.
It doesn’t come with the speed of the Retro Coupe or the durability of the Turbo Pickup, but it’s the best vehicle for squads with more than 2 players, as the car comes with four seats. So, aside from Feet, the All-Terrain Vehicle is the only option for larger parties inOnce Human.
The durability is still better than Retro Coupe, and it gets higher with upgrades, but don’t expect something at the level of the Turbo Pickup. The good news is that an All-Terrain Vehicle can be crafted in the starter garage, which means players will not need to grind for the medium or large garage.
