The CR-2 Blaster is a weapon that players might want to actively avoid this season. The CR-2 Blaster feels fun to use thanks to its extremely high rate of fire, but it will overheat far quicker than other weapons, and that’s not compensated for by the damage. The CR-2 Blaster deals little damage to opponents, and the fact that it will only really hit in the close-range vicinity makes it a very unreliable choice for engaging with opponents.

Shotguns really aren’t great in the Blaster Rifle meta, and while this shotgun is nice for a fully automatic shotgun user to enjoy, it does have decent heat capacity and faster cooldown speed than most, it’s still far too reliant on close-range damage. Players have to practically hug their opponents to get the damage off, and meanwhile, those who are using Blaster Rifles can shoot at safer distances and provide themselves with superior DPS than this shotgun could ever dream of.

The DL-44 Blaster Pistol is great for players who want to feel like Han Solo, but it’s not just for aesthetics. The DL-44 has a few decent attributes, including its reliability from hipfire and aiming down sights. While there is no damage difference between the two, both modes feature a lack of recoil and a decent fire rate that will make eachheavy-hittingshot feel great to connect, but there are weapons with a much higher fire rate, superior handling, and decent ammo size, which leaves the DL-44 Blaster Pistol in the dust.

If players want something more familiar to weapons from previous seasons, then the E-11 Blaster is the weapon that they seek. This is the standard-issue Assault Rifle of the Galactic Empire’s Stormtroopers, and it’s the standard-issue Assault Rifle that players will want. Its accurate firing, moderate recoil, and decent ammo size make it great forhalting lightsaber-usersin their tracks, and also proves more reliable than an SMG due to its fire rate, but it might struggle in longer-ranged battles.

While the DLT-19 Blaster Rifle is a tad larger than the standard Assault Rifle, it’s actually a superior model. The DLT-19 Blaster Rifle has a great fire rate and minimum recoil, especially when crouched and shooting to compensate for the bloom. The DLT-19 Blaster Rifle annihilates the competition thanks to how many shots can be fired before a cooldown penalty is applied, which makes taking outTIE FightersandX-Wingsall too easy, as well as suppressing fire on opponents at close-range and medium-range engagements.

The IQA-11 Marksman Blaster Rifle is extremely reminiscent of the DMR from previous seasons, providing players with a scoped weapon designed to handle long-range engagements almost exclusively. The IQA-11 Marksman Blaster Rifle is the perfect choice for long-range engagements, and players who are aimlesslywandering the battlefieldwill be brave, but foolish, as all it will take is a well-timed shot with this weapon to put them down, which is rather easy when one considers the fire rate and amount of charges that this Blaster has before it needs to cooldown.

The A280-CFE will be the standout weapon ofFortniteGalactic Battle, simply because of its scope. This is the only Assault Rifle-type Blaster to have a built-in scope, allowing players to zoom in on the battlefield so that they have better control over medium-range and long-range engagements. This weapon has low recoil, and while it is automatic, players can shoot this Blaster in single-shot burstsfor better control and superior handling, where other Blasters would have less effectiveness at longer ranges.
