Outlined in a Developer Update video on YouTube, one of the main takeaways from update 1.2.0 is the “one last turn” feature, which extends players’ matches while keeping a win status. The relentless natural disasters in the sequel have been a point of contention recently, but the update reduces these setbacks significantly, including a 50% reduction while playing on the “light” setting. The update also introduces research queuing, allowing players to choose the tech they want developed, and multiplayer teams. The developer previously promised two new leaders, four new civs, and four new world wonders would be added to the game between April and September, according toCivilization 7’s content roadmap, but the game’s latest update already goes above and beyond.
