Summary

While progressing through the story mode inCookie Run: Kingdomat the basic difficulty level is possible with Epic or even Rare cookies in the beginning, as players make progress, they feel the need for higher rarity cookies even more, as the simplistic skills of Epic cookies don’t seem to be enough anymore.

Legendary is basically the fourth tier of rarity, ahead of Rare, Epic, and Super Epic. Most of the cookies in this rarity come with more than one skill, and they deal a decent amount of damage while occasionally offering synergies with other squad members, or providing support for them.

Sea Fairy Cookie - Cookie Run Kingdom

Sends Forward A Giant Wave Of Water

Sea Fairy is a simple one-dimensional Bomber cookie with a single ability, just like Frost Queen. She is capable of inflicting Stun on enemies, which disables them for three seconds. Sea Fairy has one attack type that inflicts damage in two phases, with the second phase being quite powerful, targeting multiple enemies simultaneously.

While Sea Fairy deals a decent amount of damage, and she is also a good aid for other damage-heavy cookies in the team, she doesn’t have anything else to deliver. Sea Fairy Cookie doesn’t even have any synergy to improve her damage output or provide any kind of buffs for the allies. And these are the reasons why she goes to the bottom of the ranking.

Frost Queen Cookie - Cookie Run Kingdom

Freezes Enemies And Helps The Team Deal Extra Damage

Frost Queen Cookieis a good starter among the Legendary fighters, but she is a one-dimensional cookie, meaning she cannot really do anything more than freezing the opponents, and those who are immune to freezing don’t get full damage coming from the queen.

That being said, she’s still a good debuff inflicter to have in the team. While she’s not a big damage dealer, Frost Queen Cookie helps the other allies, especially the front-line cookies, to take advantage of the enemies' frozen state and deal devastating damage while remaining safe for a brief period.

Black Pearl Cookie - Cookie Run Kingdom

When it comes to debuff inflicters, it’s usually best to have at least two different debuff types in the team, so that in case enemies are immune to one, the other can hold them back. Similar to Moonlight’s Sleep, Freeze is also a debuff that disables the enemies briefly. So, having both these cookies together could be quite helpful for the real damage dealers of the squad.

Terrorizes Enemies And Reduces Their Stats

Ambush cookies are usually decent damage dealers, and that’s true in the case of Black Pearl Cookie as well. She is a master of fear and immune to any fear debuffs. The primary ability of Black Pearl Cookie is that she summons a whirl that pools in every opponent, even those immune to interruption, inflicting them with a Terror debuff that reduces their MOV SPD, ATK, and ATK SPD, then deals extra damage based on the max health pool of enemies.

Black Pearl deals Water-type damage, but she doesn’t have any synergies or squad preference, which makes her work equally decent within any given squad. Ambush cookies are not expected to be a team player, so don’t expect Black Pearl to provide any support for her allies.

Moonlight Cookie - Cookie Run Kingdom

Puts Enemies To Sleep And Restores HP

There is a good variety of Magic cookies in the Legendary rarity, andMoonlight Cookiecomes with a unique ability that comes in handy quite a lot. While most cookies usually apply debuffs like Stun, Moonlight Cookie puts her enemies to sleep, while she is immune to this specific debuff.

Moonlight Cookie can also be a healer, but she can only restore her own HP. This healing process is tied to her ATK rate, so it’s important to consider adding some Searing Raspberry to her toppings build to improve the self-healing ability.

Wind Archer Cookie - Cookie Run Kingdom

Multiple Powerful Shots With High Damage Rate

Not as powerful as Fire Spirit, butWind Archer Cookieis also a significant damage dealer in the rear line that can win games for the players, especially in PvP battles when cookies are fighting against each other.

Wind Archer comes with three different attack types that he lands one after each other. When he transforms himself to perform the skill attacks, Wind Archer removes all debuffs from himself. He is also immune to any incoming debuffs during the transformation phase, except for Curse.

Stormbringer Cookie - Cookie Run Kingdom

Similar to Fire Spirit, Wind Archer doesn’t deliver anything to his allies. The cookie is solely focused on dealing ranged damage, with no ability to heal himself or provide any kind of buffs for the allies.

Insanely Strong Attacks When Paired With Other Electric Cookies

Being a Charge cookie,Stormbringeris the best damage dealer among all Legendary cookies, especially if she is teamed up with a few other Electricity-type cookies.

To unleash the true power of Stormbringer Cookie, players need to invest heavily in Juicy Apple Jelly toppings, as it increases the CRIT% of Stormbringer, which is the key to using his abilities during the battle.

Fire Spirit Cookie - Cookie Run Kingdom

Stormbringer doesn’t provide any help to allies, but she’s quite dependent on her teammates to activate her skills, especially if they are of Electricity-type, which helps activate her most powerful skill a lot faster. Pairing Stormbringer with a good Defense or another powerful Charge cookie in the front line will create an immensely powerful attack.

Revives Himself After Death And Continues To Deal Damage

As the latest member of the Legendary family,Fire Spiritis a superb damage dealer despite the fact that he is a rear-line fighter. His Fire-type damage deals periodic damage to enemies with massive explosions that become even deadlier when more Fire cookies are in the squad.

Probably the biggest bonus of Fire Spirit is his self-revive ability. Whenever he is defeated, he comes back to life with 70% health and summoned creatures that replace dead allies. Fire Spirit is immune for 2 seconds after revival, which makes him a true menace. This is the main reason why his presence in the Kingdom Arena has increased since his arrival in the game.

Speaking of disadvantages, though, Fire Spirit is not a team-first cookie. Although he has the ability to cast a shield over all allies, that’s not strong enough to protect the team long enough unless a full-Fire squad is in action.
