However, a more recent job listing for a Producer role calls the gameCyberpunk 2instead. It’s also worth pointing out that CD Projekt Red recently filed a trademark for theCyberpunklogowithout"2077." As many fans likely assumed, it seems the “2077” may be dropped from the title for futureCyberpunkgames, opening the door for the sequel to be calledCyberpunk 2or something else entirely. Of course, it’s possible thatCyberpunk 2is simply a placeholder name, and so fans should keep that in mind. Still, it’s interesting that it’s being referred to asCyberpunk 2now instead of Project Orion.

Project Orion Job Listing Calls the Game Cyberpunk 2

TheCyberpunk 2077sequel is likely years away from release, and so there’s a chance that a name for the game hasn’t even been settled on yet. CD Projekt Red has a lot of irons in the fire right now, with the studio’s main focus currently beingThe Witcher 4.The Witcher 4will star Ciri as the main protagonistand is expected to launch within the next few years. TheCyberpunksequel will come at some point after that, but there are plenty of other CD Projekt Red games for fans to look forward to.
