Hush is one of the best legendary PvE combat bows players can get inDestiny 2, and that’s largely thanks to its perk pool. This weapon was amazing when it was first released, and since its return in Season 24, it only got better.
If you’re looking for a solid add-clear weapon for taking ondifficult content inDestiny 2, then a Hush god roll should definitely be on your list of things to farm. Here are the best perk combos you can get for this bow, as well as some insight on what makes this weapon shine.
PvE Roll
Hush’s role in PvE varies greatly based on what its fourth column perk is.Incandescentturns it into an amazing AoE weapon with good synergy with Solar builds. Meanwhile,Explosive Headmakes it a decent option for dealing with yellow-bar/Major enemies, as the arrow explosions can cause them to stagger.
Archer’s Gambitis a sort of in-between of the two perks above. It significantly decreases the draw time of your bow after you land a hip-fire Precision hit, allowing you to take down multiple red-bar/Minor enemies in a row, or take out a single Major enemy more quickly than usual.
PvP Roll
As for PvP, any combination of the third and fourth column perks above can serve you well.Opening Shot and Hip-Fire Gripimprove your aim consistency from a neutral state. Meanwhile,Archer’s Gambit and Successful Warm-upcan help you go on those long killstreaks by giving you faster draw times.
Keep these things in mind depending on what perks you get for your Hush:
Where to Get Hush?
Hush is a Precision Frame bow that players canget from playing Gambit. You can get one by opening an Engram or by purchasing a random roll from the Drifter’s Focused Decoding menu for 3 Gambit Engrams and a pile of Glimmer.
Why Choose Hush?
Bows with the perk combos listed above are rare, and if you’rea fan of bows inDestiny 2, you’ll be glad to know that Hush feels incredibly snappy and satisfying to use. Its DPS and potential AoE damage are great for a Legendary weapon, and while it won’t quite match Exotic bows in some areas, it’s always nice to have a weapon that can do a bit of everything.
If you don’t want to play Gambit, then the Non-Denouement bow from the Salvation’s Edge raid comes very close in terms of performance.Pre-Astyanax IVis also a good alternative for PvE players, but it’s only from Commander Zavala as a Legacy Nightfall weapon.
