How to Get Cruel Mercy in Destiny 2
Cruel Mercy can only be obtained by completing Nightfall activities on any difficulty. There is no dedicated Nightfall that houses Cruel Mercy, so it will drop as an additional reward upon the completion of the activity. Higher-tier difficulties, like Grandmaster, will provide Adept variations of Cruel Mercy. Once players have claimed at least one Cruel Mercy, they will be able to purchase Cruel Mercy from Zavala in The Tower for 5 Vanguard Engrams and 25,000 Glimmer.

Vanguard’s Vindication
Dragonfly is a solid choice for perk 1, as it allows players to create elemental damage explosions on their precision kills. These elemental explosions will cause a strong blast that deals decent damage in a 4.5 meter radius, and really helps with ad-control. For perk 2, Rolling Storm is a great choice as it will provide Bolt Charge on final blows, and final blows while Amplified will provide 2 stacks of Bolt Charge. Bolt Charge is great for Episode Heresy, thus making Cruel Mercy asmart choice for Arc builds.
Omolon Fluid Dynamics
Lone Wolf is a great perk 1 choice for PvP, which will improve aim assist, aim down sights speed, and airborne effectiveness. These passive effects are great, and will increase the further away players are from their allies to ensure that their Pulse Rifle is a decent weapon in the Crucible. There are a few choices for perk 2 in PvP, but Desperado is one players might want since a precision final blow increases the rate of fire, which really helps players sustain fire in the Crucible’s war.
