How To Solve Destiny 2 Episode Heresy Chess Puzzle
To solve the Chessboard puzzleinDestiny 2 Episode Heresy, players will have to collect all 60 Chess Pieces spread across the Nether, the landing locations, on Eris Apartment, the Court of Blades, the Tower, and The Drifter. Once players have collected all pieces, they need to start the challenge by going toEris Morn Throne world, and jumping from the edge of the platform to the hidden room below.
Once there, approach the chessboard in the middle of the circular room and interact with it. Guardians will be taken to a special instance where there’sa gigantic chessboard.
Now, taking into consideration the spawn zone, fromLeft to Right, the columns are designated: A - B - C - D - E - F - G - H, and the rows are designated 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 (bottom to tops). The glowing icons in the platforms represent a ‘move,’ andstanding over the platformandshooting one of the squaresexecutes that move.
Players will also notice 2 extra moves to the sides. To the left we have ‘Delete,’ whichdeletes the piecestanding on the square players shoot, and to the right we have ‘Take,’ which will convert a piecefrom white to black or black to white. The rest of the moves (from left to right) are:Knight,Rook,Pawn,Queen, andBishop.

Every few Rounds completed, players will receivea random episode Heresy Weaponas a reward, and in some cases, guaranteed Adept weapons with 2 rows of perks.
If players commit a mistake, they can go to the platform overlooking the chessboard and select ‘Undo Previous Action.’ Still, be careful while inputting the solutions. Take it nice and slow.
How To Solve The Final Puzzle & Get Umbral Rumble Shader
Once players have solved the 27 Rounds of the Chess game, they will have to abandon the instance and re-enter the chess game to input a final solution, which corresponds to the Community Challenge.This will reward them with a Taken Shader(Umbral Rumble), an Exotic Ship, and some odds and ends, including Strange Coins, Ascendany Alloy, and more.

Once the chessboard is assembled, turn around and climb to the platform, look for the Activator (similar to those found in the Dreadnought), and interact when it says ‘Submit Answer.’ This will clear the board and spawn a chest on the opposite extreme of the chess board.
