ADestiny 2player has shared a build that recreates the Mandalorian fromStar Wars.Destiny 2andStar Warsare IPs known for telling stories set in universes with unique characters and eye-catching outfits. So it’s no surprise that players of Bungie’s shooter often show affection for the Disney franchise by creating armor sets inspired by its characters.
Previously, an inventiveDestiny 2turned their Titan into C3PO, the yellow droid from theStar Warsfilms who forms the charismatic duo with his friend R2-D2, resulting in an armor set with many details in common. A second player recreated Captain Enoch from theStar Wars: Ahsokaseries, designing a set of armor highly similar to that used by the Night Troopers. This time, another community member shared a build inspired by theStar Warsuniverse, recreating one of its most beloved characters.
In a new post on the DestinyFashion subreddit, a user named fsdogdad showed how they transformed their Hunter into the Mandalorian from thepopular Disney+ series. To make the build, they used the Solstice Mask (Majestic), an ornament that stands out most for impressively reproducing the helmet worn by Pedro Pascal’s character. The rest of the armor is made up of the Righteous Grips, Wall-watcher Vest, Lucky Pants, and Covert Ranger Cloak, which recreates the cloak worn by the Mandalorian on his adventures across the galaxy.
Inventive Destiny 2 Build Transforms Hunter Into Star Wars Mandalorian
A key part ofDestiny 2buildsare the shaders, which help to give extra life to the armor created by players. To bring the Mandalorian to life, the OP used Iron Wolf, Cayde’s Duds, Warbrick, and Darkwater Froth, Legendary shaders introduced in Seasons 1, 4, 6, and 10. They also used the Dead Man’s Tale scout rifle to reproduce the Amban sniper rifle, one of the weapons used by the Mandalorian, since the two have a significantly similar design. To give the build an extra touch, they painted the Hunter’s Ghost Shell green, an allusion to the little Grogu that accompanies the Mandalorian and is eventually adopted by him.
While players have already created armor sets paying homage toStar Warsseveral times, Bungie also has an official collaboration with the franchise. TheDestiny 2xStar Warscrossoverwas released earlier this year, adding three armor sets. With these, Hunters can be dressed as Death Troopers, Warlocks as members of the Imperial Royal Guard, and Warlocks as the iconic Stormtroopers.
