The news most fans have been waiting for is finally right around the corner, as Bungie will be revealingDestiny 2: The Edge of Fate expansion in a special livestream. This represents the next chapter of the game, as part of the “Codename: Frontiers” era that Bungie officially announced last year.
Alongside the reveal, May 6 also marks the launch of thepreviously released Rite of the Nine activity forDestiny 2. However, this will be the official launch of the activity, unlike when it arrived way earlier than expected, largely being incomplete.

Where is Xur?
Xur has now taken up permanent residence in the Bazaar area inside The Tower, so there’s no more hunting when the weekend comes around.
Since the Bazaar is located between both fast travel points, players can pick either one to load into. Head into the area where Ikora and Hawthorne are hanging out and look for the Ramen Shop towards the back wall. While facing the shop, the alley hiding Xur is to the right.
Destiny 2 Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur’s role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they’re necessary toacquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Promethium Spur - Warlock leg armor
Exotic Perk:
Spiky stat armor this week for Warlocks, though the exotic on sale isn’t a real top-tier option in the current meta. It’s one that’s more beneficial in PvE-style activities.
Ophidia Spathe - Hunter chest armor
Another exotic item for knife throwing/Blade Barrage gunslingers, this one isn’t nearly as unique or flashy, but it gives players a second knife charge which always comes in handy. Not only that, final blows with a knife throw stacks bonus damage.
Dunemarchers - Titan leg armor
For Titans who want to go fast, the Dunemarchers not only increase spring speed, but they’ll give the player the ability to chain lightning and apply the Shocked debuff to melee-hit enemies. They’re a solid add this week, especially with the 68 total.
