Over the last decade,Dungeons and Dragonsactual plays have seen a huge surgein popularity. Titanic titles likeCritical Rolepaved the way for dozens of other games, includingDimension 20, the acclaimed actual play series produced by Dropout – formerly known as CollegeHumor – and helmed by comedian Brennan Lee Mulligan.

Now,Dimension 20has officially revealed the trailer for its 26th actual play campaign.Cloudward, Ho!takes place in a brand-new setting inspired by steampunk, airships, and otherworldly adventure. ThisDungeons and Dragonscampaign, which stars the Intrepid Heroes – the primary cast ofDimension 20, featuring Mulligan as the game master and Emily Axford, Ally Beardsley, Brian Murphy, Zac Oyama, Siobhan Thompson, and Lou Wilson as players – will consist of 20 episodes, premiering on June 4.

As for the characters, Thomson is playing Vanellope “Van” Champman, a grizzled sky-sailor, while Murphy is Maxwell Gotch, a dapper-but-athletic nobleman. The gaunt and haunted Marya Junkova is played by Axford, the elderly gunslinger Daisuke Bucklesby by Zac Oyama, and the burly cowboy Montgomery LaMontgommery by Lou Wilson. Lastly, Beardsley’s Olethra MacLeod is an aspiring adventurer from a family whose mysterious legacy appears to be integral to the story of the campaign. It remains to be seenwhichDungeons and Dragonsclassesthese characters will be, or what modifications will be made to the system to fit the steampunk setting.

Cloudward, Ho!airsexclusively onDimension 20’s Dropout streaming serviceon June 4 at 4 PM PT, but the first episode will be made available on YouTube starting June 11. Fans hoping to watch the rest of the series can do so on Dropout every subsequent Wednesday, with their respectiveAdventuring Partytalkback episodes released the following Thursday. Halfway through the series – on or around August 13 – there will be a one-week break before featuring a recap episode, after which it will return to its normal schedule.

There is currently no information on whatDimension 20Season 27 will be. That said,Cloudward, Ho!will not finish airing until the middle of October, so fans won’t need to worry about the next series for many months.
