Not including the Platinum Trophy forthe PS5 version of the game, there are 28 Trophies / Achievements forDOOM: The Dark Ages. Players can unlock 14 of these just by completing the main story on any difficulty setting, with the other 14 tied to collectibles, challenges, and upgrades.
Unlocking all of theDOOM: The Dark AgesTrophies / Achievements will take most players around 16 hours, although it’s possible to do so much faster if players know what they’re doing. None of them are missable, and they can all be unlocked on the easiest difficulty setting.
Defeat The Old One and Enhanced Ahzrak.
Vagary Down!(Silver)
Kill the Vagary Champion.
Unlocked as part of the main story by beating the Vagary Champion at the end of Chapter 4.
Agaddon Champion Down!(Silver)
Kill an Agaddon Hunter
Unlocked as part of the main story by beating the Agaddon Hunter at the end of Chapter 8.
Komodo Champion Down!(Silver)
Kill a Komodo demon.
Unlocked as part of the main story by beating the Komodo demon at the start of Chapter 14.
Upgraded(Bronze)
Acquire your first weapon upgrade.
Players will unlock the ability toupgrade the Slayer’s weaponsduring the game’s second chapter. Unlocking any upgrade will reward players with the Fully Loaded Trophy / Achievement.
Fully Loaded(Silver)
Complete the Mastery Challenge for a single weapon.
Players will unlock a weapon’s Mastery Challenge after fully upgrading it. Completing any of the eleven master challenges will reward players with the Fully Loaded Trophy / Achievement.
Gunpletionist(Gold)
Complete the Mastery Challenge for all weapons.
Unlock the conqueror skin for every weapon bycompleting all eleven weapon mastery challenges inDOOM: The Dark Ages.
Gimme That(Bronze)
Acquire the Ballistic Force Crossbow.
Unlocked as part of the main story by finding the BFC in Chapter 14.
Ancestral Blessing(Bronze)
Acquire your first Shield Rune.
Unlocked as part of the main story by finding the Ground Fissure Shield Rune in Chapter 9.
Melee Expert(Silver)
Acquire all melee weapon upgrades.
Fully upgrade the Power Gauntlet (unlocked in Chapter 1), the Flail (unlocked in Chapter 6), and the Dreadmace (unlocked in Chapter 15).
Berserker(Gold)
Acquire all Shield Base, Shield Rune, and Melee Weapon upgrades.
Fully upgrade the Slayer’s Shield Saw, Shield Runes (x4), and melee weapons (x3).
Essential Upgrade(Bronze)
Acquire your first Demonic Essence upgrade.
Unlocked as part of the main story by killing the Leader demon in Chapter 2.
Essential Ammo(Silver)
Acquire all Demonic Essence ammo upgrades.
Findthe twelve Ammo Demonic Essencesin chapters 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17 (x2), 19, 20, and 22. Most of these are obtained as part of the main story, but one or two may be tied to optional Gore Nests that contain Leaders.
Essential Armor(Silver)

Lore Nerd
Acquire all Codex Lore pages.
Findthe 26 Codex Entriesin chapters 1 (x2), 2, 4, 5 (x2), 6 (x2), 7, 8, 9 (x2), 10 (x2), 12, 14 (x2), 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 (x2), 20 (x2), and 22.
DOOM: The Dark Ages Trophy / Achievement Roadmap
With a little bit of planning, players can unlock all of theDOOM: The Dark Agesachievements in a single playthrough, which should take under 15 hours. To do so, they should make a point of getting every collectible that the game has to offer, including Gold, Rubies, and Wraithstones. This will allow them to upgradeall of the Slayer’s equipment. They’ll also want to complete all of the Chapter-specific challenges and optional encounters, which means closing all of the Gore Nests (red portals) they come across.
That just leaves the eleven weapon mastery challenges, which become available once a weapon has been fully upgraded. If players pay close enough attention to the challenge requirements, they’ll be able to complete these as they make their way through the main story. If not,weapon mastery for all eleven weapons can be farmed in a couple of hours, with the Harbor of Souls and Reckoning chapters being the best places to accomplish this.
