The new cosmetic options are available from the Roundtable Hold, a base area where players can rest, relax, and upgrade their equipment and abilities. A special shop called the Small Jar Bazaar allows Nightfarers to change their cosmetic appearance in exchange for Murk, a currency earned in battle. The costumes range from variations on the designs ofElden Ring Nightreigncharactersto cosmetic armor sets drawn from theDark Soulsseries.

The trailer shows off three sets based on Solaire of Astoria, Faraam, the God of War, and Ringfinger Leonhard, a servant of Rosaria, Mother of Rebirth fromDark Souls 3. Notably, the costumes only appear to be cosmetic, rather than altering the wearer’s gameplay, since the characters wearing them in the trailer don’t appear to be equipping the same weapons or combat styles as theirDark Soulsoriginals.
