Escoffier joinsGenshin Impactas aCryo support and sub-DPS, specializing in Freeze compositions through consistent healing, resistance shredding, and team-wide buffs. Her kit enables Cryo and Hydro DPS units to maintain Freeze uptime while increasing their overall damage output. Her ascension passive is one of her most defining abilities, allowing her to reduce Hydro and Cryo RES of opponents hit by her Elemental Skill or Burst. This debuff scales withthe number of Cryoand Hydro characters in the team, starting at 15% for three characters and reaching 55% if the team consists entirely of Cryo and Hydro units.
While her base kit already offers strong Cryo support, her constellations further enhance her effectiveness by introducing damage scaling improvements and critical buffs - especially for CryoMain DPS characters. As players unlock her constellations, Escoffier’s synergy with Cryo-heavy teams becomes even more pronounced, making her a stronger investment for Freeze-based compositions. Here’s how they fare, and whether players should prioritize any constellations, or save up resources for future characters.
Are Escoffier’s Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
In short, it depends. Escoffier’sconstellations provide additional buffs and utility, but they are only truly worth considering forplayers running her alongside Cryo DPS characters. The benefits she offers for Hydro DPS units are significantly less impactful, making constellation investment more niche.
Her early constellations focus on improving her support capabilities, particularly for added Crit DMG and DMG dealt buffs.C1 and C2 are generally the best stopping points, as they provide solid utility without requiring a heavy investment.C1, in particular, can arguably outperform even her signature weapon, but her signature remains a more future-proof option, as it has stronger versatility and potential to be BiS for multiple characters beyond Escoffier.
Overall Escoffier is perfectly fine at C0, especially since her constellations do bring some more limitations to the team composition. Unless players want to invest heavily for Escoffier for their existing Cryo DPS units, it might be better to save up resources for upcoming characters that might have high synergy with her.

Importance
Priority
Escoffier’s C1 is her most valuable constellation for Freeze-based teams, particularly those centered around Cryo DPS characters. Since Cryo units naturally achieve added Crit Rate when attacking Cryo inflicted or Frozen enemiesthrough Cryo resonance, this constellation significantly amplifies their damage output by granting a 60% Crit DMG increase to the entire team for 15 seconds after Escoffier uses her Elemental Skill or Burst, provided the party consists entirely of Cryo and Hydro characters. This substantial Crit DMG boost benefits not only the main DPS but also sub-DPS characters. Even Escoffier herself sees a noticeable boost in damage, increasing her sub-DPS utility.
Beyond raw DPS gains, C1 makes stat optimization far easier, particularly for Crit Value min-maxing. Players can prioritize other stats without sacrificing too much Crit DMG, creating a more balanced artifact setup.
C2 - Fresh, Fragrant Stew Is an Art
When Escoffier activates her Cooking Mek in itsCold Storage Mode, she will gain the “Freshly-Prepped Delicacy” effect for 15s. During this time, Escoffier will gain 5 Cold Dish stacks. When nearby active characters apart from Escoffier dealCryo DMGwith a Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attack, or an Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst, they will expend 1 Cold Dish stack to increase their DMG dealt by 240% of Escoffier’s ATK.
If you hit multiple opponents with a single instance ofCryo DMG, Cold Dish stacks will be consumed based on the number of opponents hit.
High
While Escoffier’s C2 isn’t as universally impactful as her C1, it remains a strong constellation for Cryo DPS characters, particularly in setups where maximizing individual damage is crucial. The Freshly-Prepped Delicacy effect grants Cold Dish stacks, which allow active Cryo characters to boost their damage based on Escoffier’s ATK.
Unlike C1, which benefits the entire team, C2 applies only to the active character, meaning players running triple Cryo teams should carefully manage their rotations. Since Cold Dish stacks are shared, it’s best to activate Escoffier’s effect before switching to the primary DPS, ensuring they get the most out of the 5 available stacks. This prevents resources from being unintentionally consumed by off-field units or smaller Cryo dealing attacks, allowing the main DPS to maximize their damage potential with the right type of attack, for example, their Elemental Burst, if it has high DPS modifiers.
Additionally, because C2 scales off Escoffier’s ATK, players may find an ATK goblet more beneficial than Cryo DMG, as it enhances both the strength of the buff and her healing capabilities from her base kit. While this constellation doesn’t redefine her role in Freeze teams, it still provides meaningful improvements for Cryo DPS output, making it a worthy consideration for players heavily invested in Freeze based compositions.
C4 - Secret Rosemary Recipe
Rehab Dietlasts 6 more seconds. While it is active, you have a chance of healing 100% extra HP and restoring 2 Energy to Escoffier when you trigger healing throughRehab Diet. This chance corresponds to Escoffier’s CRIT Rate. you may trigger this effect 7 times during any oneRehab Diet’s duration.
Low
Escoffier’s C4 is a low-priority constellation, as it focuses on boosting her healing and energy generation rather than increasing team damage. While this constellation allows her to heal up to seven times during Rehab Diet, Escoffier’shealing is already sufficient at C0, making this extra healing largely unnecessary for most teams.
The energy regeneration effect is slightly more useful, as it grants 2 Energy per healing instance, potentially improving her burst uptime. However, since Escoffier is typically played in multiple Cryo character teams, her energy generation shouldn’t be an issue to begin with. Given that this constellation appears at C4, it comes at a high cost for minimal gains, making it the least impactful upgrade in her kit. That being the case, players should only consider C4 if they plan to go all the way to C6, as stopping here does not provide meaningful benefits compared to her earlier constellations. Otherwise, C1 and C2 remain far more valuable for Cryo DPS compositions.
When your party’s active character’s Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks hit opponents, Cooking Mek: Cold Storage Mode will fire off another Special-Grade Frosty Parfait, dealing 500% of Escoffier’s ATK asAoE Cryo DMG. This DMG is considered Elemental Skill DMG.
This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s, and this effect can be triggered 6 times within the duration of one Cooking Mek: Cold Storage Mode.
Medium
Escoffier’s C6 enhances her own offensive capabilities, introducing coordinated attacks that deal AoE Cryo DMG based on her ATK. Unlike the standard single-target attacks from Cold Storage Mode, this constellation allows her to hit multiple enemies at once, improving her effectiveness in group encounters.
While this effect adds extra Cryo damage, it is limited to six triggers per skill activation, reducing its overall impact in extended battles. Additionally, Escoffier’s Elemental Skill has a relatively long duration and cooldown, meaning the interval between activations makes this constellation less consistent compared to C1 and C2, which provide buffs for the party member(s).
