Announced in a blog post on Steam, Saber confirmed the team had begun the process of removingEvil Dead: The Gamefrom digital storefronts, which currently includes its removal from the Epic Games, PlayStation, and Steam storefronts. Thankfully, the developer confirmed the game’s servers would remain online for everyone who purchased the game.Evil Dead: The Gameisn’t the only title being pulled from storefronts in 2025, however, sinceXbox recently delisted six gamesfrom its storefront, includingOuter Terror,Daggerhood, andGravity Duck. That being said, Saber’s title remains listed on the Xbox Store at the time of writing.

Evil Dead: The Gamefans noticed its disappearance from storefrontsonly a few days ago and aired their concerns on social media. Many were fearing the game was going to be axed completely and without little warning, so it would have been a relief to hear Saber was keeping the game online for frequent players. Even though fans will still be able to access the game, grief captured the player base, with many naming the title as one of the greatest asymmetric horror games to exist.
