After being delayed, The Big Bloom Seasonal Event is now available from May 6 to May 20, and throughout these two weeks, The Big Bloom Public Event inFallout 76will be available at the beginning of every hour at Black-Eyed Susan’s Cabin.
Overall,Fallout 76’s Season 20 Community Calendaris packed with events for both new and returning players to enjoy. Since this is the first time The Big Bloom Seasonal Event is here, players won’t want to miss out on some of the exclusive rewards from this event, since they might not come back until around this time next year. Otherwise, this new Seasonal Event is also a great chance for players to progress throughFallout 76’s Season 20 SCORE rewards track ahead of Season 21, coming sometime in June alongsideFallout 76’s fishing update.
Fallout 76’s The Big Bloom Event Explained
This Public Event takes place at thenew location, Black-Eyed Susan’s Cabin, which is located between the Cranberry Bog and Skyline Valley regions. The Big Bloom Public Event will become available at the beginning of every hour throughout the Seasonal Event, though players will need to speak with Black-Eyed Susan to officially start the event. Failing to do so in time will immediately fail the event, but it’s recommended to wait a few minutes before speaking with Susan, to give other players a chance to show up for the event.
After speaking with Black-Eyed Susan, the first of three phases of the event will begin. During phase one, players will need to collect three types of flowers scattered around the meadow while avoiding enemies and landmines. In phase two, players will need to set Overgrown enemies on fire. For the final stage of the event, players will need to defeat a special event boss, Beezlebub, Giant Bee of Yore. Each of these three phases is timed, so players will need to act fast to avoid failing the Event.
For players who don’t have any weapons with Fire damage for phase two of The Big Bloom, throwable Fire grenades will be available for free during this Public Event, in a box on top of Susan’s Cabin.
Why Players Won’t Want to Miss The Big Bloom Seasonal Event in Fallout 76
Due to the rewards from this Seasonal Event being new, this makes them expensive items for players totrade or sell in their CAMP vending machines. In general, plans typically have some of the highest weight-to-price ratios, but these plans being limited-time rewards make them especially valuable.
Even for players who only want to collect the rewards for themselves, there is one particular reward from this Seasonal Event that players will want to grab while it’s available: the recipe for Black-Eyed Susan’s Soothin. This consumable drink provides +5% XP and +10% damage for an hour, but with the Herbivore Mutation and the Strange in Numbers Perk Card, these buffs can be increased to 12.5% XP and 25% damage for an hour, making it one ofthe best XP buffs inFallout 76.
Another reason why players won’t want to miss this new Seasonal Event inFallout 76is that it’s a great opportunity for players to progress through theSeason 20 SCORE rewards track. More specifically, in addition to the standard variety of daily and weekly SCORE challenges, there are also two sets of weekly Event SCORE challenges related to The Big Bloom Seasonal Event.
