GTA 6 Fans Mock Xbox Series S Version

With the nextGrand Theft Autotitle set to push current-gen hardware to its absolute limits, it’s not surprising to know that tech experts Digital Foundry have already claimedGrand Theft Auto 6will likely run at 30 FPS, even on the more powerful consoles, such as the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 Pro. With this in mind, many are questioning (and mocking) how this graphically intense title is going to run on the Series S, as the console is far less powerful than its counterpart, the Series X. As reported byDexerto, fans are eager to see what compromises the studio has had to make in order for the title to run on the Series S.

The Xbox Series S is great for fans looking to check out many of thenew additions to Xbox Game Passeach month, but the console does come with quite a few drawbacks. With less GPU power and RAM and a 1440p resolution that is upscaled to 4K, those looking for the best gaming performance possible will want to go with Series X, PS5 Pro, or, even better, a PC.

With far less performance power than other consoles, fans aren’t convinced thatGrand Theft Auto 6will even run on the Series S.One usersays the “little potato is going to explode the second you click play onGrand Theft Auto 6,” whileanother saysthat Rockstar Games will be “the greatest developer of all time” if it is able to getGTA 6running on the Series S. Many others simply mocked the idea ofGrand Theft Auto 6on the Series S, jokingly posting screenshots of 2002’sVice Citywith Jason and/or Lucia modded into the game.

Rockstar Games has already confirmed thatGrand Theft Auto 6will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S at launch, but how the title will perform on Microsoft’s budget-friendly console remains a mystery. Sadly, it will be quite some time until fans get to experience the highly anticipated title, as Rockstar Games has also confirmed thatGrand Theft Auto 6has been delayed until July 16, 2025. The next entry in the series was initially set for Fall 2025, but was pushed back to allow the developer more time to perfect the title.
