Another video demonstrates how much faster the Switch 2 version will be when it comes to loading time. For example, on the start menu, players of the upgraded Switch 2 version only have to wait a little over six seconds for thecritically-acclaimedFantasy Life ito fully boot up, while the original version took 12 seconds. Another improvement is the load time for Teleportation Gates, which takes under 10 seconds from confirming travel to arriving, while the original Switch release took 17 seconds to do the same.
The Switch 2 version ofFantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Timeisn’t one of thefree Switch game upgrades, unfortunately. However, the price of the upgrade is quite low, costing a mere $2.59, a small fraction of the $59.99 base price for the game. The upgrade will be available when the Nintendo Switch 2 launches on June 5.
