With the Natlan arc ending inGenshin Impact, players will soon enjoy filler versions before the new region becomes available. To reminisce about the Traveler’s past journeys, version 5.6 won’t only bring characters from Fontaine like Escoffier, Navia, and Wriothesley, but the main quest will also revolve around Mondstadt characters. This is likely a buildup for the future Nod-Krai area, especially when it comes toold friends like Jean, Kaeya, Albedo, and Venti, and future acquaintances like Varka.

Players who are excited to reunite with Mondstadt characters can jump in once theGenshin Impact5.6 maintenance ends.

When Is Genshin Impact 5.6 Coming Out?

Genshin Impact5.6 is coming out onMay 6, 2025, for players in the UTC-4 timezone and earlier,or July 01, 2025, for Travelers in the UTC-3 timezone and later.

The first phase of the version will feature a new character called Escoffier, and a 4-star unit called Ifa. Alongside Escoffier is the rerun banner ofNavia inGenshin Impact.

Genshin Impact 5.6 Maintenance Ends & Start Time

Like most updates of HoYoverse games,Genshin5.6 update will last five hours. Each hour of update time comes with a60 Primogems compensation(minimum 300 Primogems).
