According to the chart, Escoffier is responsible for over 85% of the sales, which might come as a slight surprise since Navia is widely considered one of the bestGeo users inGenshin Impact. Escoffier is the only new five-star character introduced in this update, and she’s best used as a sub-DPS or support character in a specific team composition that revolves around Freeze. Even though Freeze has been part of the game since release, it has long been one of the least-used elemental reactions inGenshin Impact. However, over the last couple of updates, HoYoverse has given more attention to older elemental reactions, either by directly buffing their effects or by releasing new characters whose kits enhance these reactions.
Genshin Impact: Escoffier and Navia Sales Difference Revealed
The five-star character Navia has had a similar impact on the Geo element, as her addition back in Fontaine caused a slight increase in team compositions that rely on Geo. Navia is best used as a mainDPS character inGenshin Impact, and she’s widely considered one of the most fun units to use in the game.
Escoffier was not the only new character added in this banner cycle, asGenshin Impactalso introduced Ifa, a new four-star Natlan character. This character is shared between the two limited banners, which means he probably didn’t have a significant impact on the revenue difference between Escoffier and Navia.
One of the reasons why many players pulled for Escoffier could be the fact that recent gameplay leaks confirmed she will have great synergy with one of the upcoming five-star characters, the long-awaited Skirk. The mysterious Skirk has been one of the most anticipated characters in the community, and HoYoverse finally confirmed that she will join the playable roster in the upcomingGenshin Impactupdate 5.7.
