Giganis one of the most popular alien kaiju in theGodzillafranchise, mainly due to his cool-looking cybernetic enhancements, his ruthless personality, and his violent fighting style. Despite the questionable quality of his debut film,Godzilla vs. Gigan, he has become an icon in the Tokusatsu genre and many fans have been asking for his return.
Godzilla x Kong: Supernovamay deliver on that promise by featuring Gigan as one of its main antagonists. His extraterrestrial origins mean he would be perfect for that role. But which design would Legendary Pictures use as inspiration? Would he be green and yellow like in his original appearance? There’s a possibility that Hedorah will appear in the upcomingGodzilla Minus Onesequel, but it would also be fascinating to see a Western studio trying to bring it to life, especially with the advanced CGI special effects that the Monsterverse is known for. A well-done modern incarnation of Hedorah has the potential to become a true obstacle for both Godzilla and Kong.

Orga, the main villain ofGodzilla 2000: Millennium, is one of the most underused kaiju in theGodzillafranchise.Despite appearing in just one film, it had an impact on fans. Audiences were shocked by Orga’s ability to replicate Godzilla’s cells and become a powerful, imperfect clone of the King of the Monsters.
Due to its immense physique, intimidating design, and unpredictable powers, Orga has become a fan-favorite, especially after appearing as an antagonist in video games likeGodzilla: Save the EarthandGodzilla: Unleashed. For starters, a supernova is a massive explosion that often results in the creation of a black hole. In his debut film, SpaceGodzilla was born when Godzilla’s cells fell into a black hole. On top of that, fans are theorizing that other elements of the movie’s official announcement (like the colors of the logo or the binary code found in the footage) are also hinting that SpaceGodzilla will be the main antagonist.
