Summary
Grand Theft Auto 6fans believe a famous feature from Rockstar Games’Midnight Clubseries could be returning in the highly anticipated title. After the studio released a brand-new trailer forGrand Theft Auto 6earlier this month, as well as 70 new screenshots, fans quickly began speculating that repairing vehicles in the game may be similar toMidnight Club Los Angeles, with certain parts being replaced with ones covered in primer. As Rockstar has already implemented this feature in one of its previous titles, some are convinced it will be making a return.
There’s still one year left to go until the nextGTAgame is released, but the game’s latest trailer has been broken down and analyzed by fans hundreds of times already. One theory in particular that has spread like wildfire across the community is the possible connection betweenGrand Theft Auto 6’s Lucia andGrand Theft Auto 4’s Luis. The wild, yet completely plausible theory speculates that the two could be related for a multitude of different reasons. Not only is Lucia now confirmed to be from Liberty City, but she also has a background in fighting, which aligns with Luis and his brother Ernesto.
GTA 6 May Bring Back An Iconic Midnight Club Feature
WithnewGrand Theft Auto 6theoriespopping up frequently, it can be difficult to keep track. However, one new theory has pointed to a possible new gameplay feature taken directly from theMidnight Clubseries. Twitter user Gamers Guide has spotted multiple instances that suggest vehicle parts may be repaired with new ones covered in primer paint, something that Rockstar Games first introduced in the 2008 racing game,Midnight Club Los Angeles. The user noted that Rockstar’s version of the Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu first appears in Trailer 1 with all parts of the car the same color, but it then appears in Trailer 2 with the passenger door a different color.
It isn’t just the red vehicle that appears with mismatched colors, though.Grand Theft Auto 6’s second traileralso features another car with one panel that is a different color from the rest of it. While this could be nothing, the user speculates that the game will include a realism feature that will repair broken car parts with primer until the player visits a garage and replaces the parts with new ones that match the rest of the car. This was seen inMidnight Club Los Angeles, but has never made its way into aGrand Theft Autogame, despite the fact that both series are developed by the same studio.
It’s going to be quite some time before fans find out if this theory is correct, but there’s likely going to be plenty of other fan theories in the meantime.Grand Theft Auto 6’s record-breaking second trailersent shockwaves across the internet earlier this month, amassing over 475 million views in less than 24 hours. According to Rockstar Games, the trailer is the biggest and fastest-growing video launch in the history of the internet, showcasing just how much anticipation there is for the nextGTAgame.
