Silksong Has Yet to Confirm a Release Date, But There Are Signs It’s Drawing Near

If there was ever a perfect time for Team Cherry to reveal an official release date, it would be this showcase. However, one of the most intriguing developments of all is thatSilksongwill actually be playable for a select few in September.
Silksongwill be part of an official ACMI exhibit in Australia titled “Game Worlds.” As the name suggests, the exhibit is focused on art direction and world-building in video games, anda playable version ofSilksongwill be present. Of course, it could simply be a small demo, but it also suggests that a lot of the game may be complete. If that’s the case, the ACMI exhibit might be hinting at a release date set around fall.
The ACMI exhibit runs until February 2026.
Games likeMarathon,Borderlands 4, andGhost of Yoteimay have confirmed Q3 and Q4 releases, but much of the latter half of the year is still looking bare. This leavesplenty of room forSilksongto stake its claim as a fall or winter release that is fully free from the overshadowing power ofGTA 6.
