Spider-Man: Brand New Dayis a fresh start for Spider-Man as he swings through New York, burdened with the great power and responsibility to beSpider-Manwhile leaving the identity of Peter Parker behind. As Spidey emerges into a world full of superheroes, it would make sense that he would interact with a fair few of them, especially when New York City has so many of them.
Since Spider-Man has already encounteredsome true titans of superheroeslike Doctor Strange and Iron Man, it’s expected that the MCU will lend a few iconic characters to Spidey’s journey, even just for a short cameo, so which heroes could cameo inSpider-Man: Brand New Day?
6Doctor Strange
The Sorcerer Supreme Who Made the World Forget Peter Parker
Doctor Strange and Spider-Man have interacted more than once, but perhaps their most important interaction came after Spider-Man’s identity was revealed to the world. With Doctor Strange helping Peter so that the world would forget him, it came with the ultimate cost of knowing that those he bonded with, andthose he loved, wouldn’t ever recognise his face again, including his friendship with Stephen Strange.
It would be nice to see Doctor Strange back in the Sanctum Sanctorum, if not as Peter’s friend, at least as Spider-Man’s. The two have great chemistry, and it would be funny to see Spider-Man fight a foe through the mystical sanctum, or at least go on a tour with Doctor Strange as an excuse to see the ghost dog Bats.
5Daredevil
A Really Good Lawyer Who Lets the Devil Out
Matthew Murdock might be one of the best lawyers out of Hell’s Kitchen, but he also has a demon in him. Murdock’s secret identity as Daredevil sees him leap from rooftop to rooftop in a vigilante pursuit of justice where the cops and lawyers could never tread, and as such, surely it would be inevitable that these two red heroes eventually met up to fight alongside one another.
Daredevil’s career as a lawyer could help Spider-Man out of trouble, and they could have a mutual battle against Wilson Fisk’s anti-vigilante task force. It would be a missed opportunity not to have these two icons team together to protect New York City as street-level heroes.
4Ms. Marvel
A Super Fan and Heroic Mutant to Protect Jersey City
Another MCU hero that protects New York City is Ms. Marvel, a young girl who always tries to help with a smile on her face and an awe for more popular superheroes that she’s got posters and action figures of in her room. It would be nice to see Ms. Marvel interact with Spider-Man so she can geek out over him, or with him as the two young heroes battle together.
Ms. Marvel could also provide a great catalyst for Spider-Man’s entry intoAvengers: DoomsdayorAvengers: Secret Wars, as Ms. Marvel’s friend, Monica Rambeau, is trapped in the X-Men dimension, whichprovides a great multiverseevent for him to ride into.
3The Hulk
Big and Green – The Only One to Remember Peter Parker
In the comics, when everyone forgot Peter Parker’s identity as Spider-Man,it was only Hulkthat managed to keep the memory alive. Whether that’s because of the mental fortitude against magic for the Hulk, or simply because Bruce Banner was in control at the time, is a curious one, but what would benefit Spider-Man is if he got to interact with the Hulk and feel like he’s actually been seen outside of the mask again.
The Hulk’s familiarity with the Hulk could be nice to see, especially when the Hulk is so powerful and was part of Marvel’s big three before the replacement era of Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America. Hulk and Spider-Man have great chemistry, but it’s all about figuring out how to separate Banner and Hulk to bring back the angry green grump.

Spider-Man’s Best Bud with a Hot Streak
The friendship between Johnny Storm and Peter Parker is great, and something the comics have often explored. These best friends are often depicted as lazing roommates, where Johnny doesn’t exactly pull his weight when the two live together. They work great as friends and as a duo ofheroes that help New York.
It will be interesting to see how the Fantastic Four are integrated into the MCU with their first MCU movie inThe Fantastic Four: The First Steps, in 2025, and hopefully it provides them a path to enter the MCU so that Peter’s friendship with Johnny can form.

Brothers From Another Universe
Spider-Man: No Way Home was a hit for a multitude of reasons, but perhaps the biggest of all was the fan service and nostalgia associated with Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire returning as their respective versions of Spider-Man. Seeing three Spider-Men on-screen was a dream come true for many, and Andrew Garfield received a beautiful arc that solidified his character past the trauma ofThe Amazing Spider-Man 2– so why not bring them back?
The multiverse isn’t dead, and it would be a shame if that was the last we ever see of this trio that work so well together, especially when the Spider-Verse is alive and well. Whether it’s a brief cameo to teaseSecret Warsor something to show that Peter isn’t alone in the MCU, it would just be nice to have a friendly face again.
