DuringHonkai: Star Rail’s “Star Rail Live” concert event, HoYoverse officially showed off the first teasers for a brand-new game in theHonkaiuniverse. The trailer featured characters from across different games in the franchise, showingHonkai Impact 3rd’s Kiana andHonkai: Star Rail’s Blade. Each character in the trailer is accompanied by an animal companion, with a small dog joining Kiana while Blade is joined by a large wolf, showing the creatures launching into a battle. The trailer did not show an official name for the game, only telling fans to “stay tuned” for more information.

HoYoverse is Making a Pokemon-Like Game

While the teaser trailer did not give much information about the game, a newHonkaigame has been referenced numerous times in leaks and rumors. HoYoverse has been rumored to be developing aPokemon-like game for several months, lending to the creatures accompanying Kiana and Blade in the trailer. Recent information has also hinted at the title for the newHonkaigame, with multiple private X accountscreated with “Honkai: Nexus Anima” as the name.
