A recentHonkai: Star Railleak is hinting at several buffs coming to Blade as part of the game’s Version 3.4 update later this year. Honkai: Star Railfirst revealed during the lead-up to the launch of Version 3.1 that the developer would be looking at making changes to several older playable characters. HoYoverse would later reveal its initial lineup of characters set to receive buffs, with Blade, Silver Wolf, Kafka, and Jingliu all planned for changes to their kits. The developer even revealed the release window for these buffs, with the first wave of adjustments toStar Rail’s older characters coming in Version 3.4. Now, a fan-favorite character’s changes are being teased early.
Honkai: Star Rail Leaks New Blade Buffs
A new leak shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker Galaxy Leak via fellow leaker Luna is teasingmultiple changes coming to Blade in Version 3.4. According to the update, Blade will see changes to the scaling of his abilities, shifting to be purely based on HP as his main stat.Blade will also see adjustmentsto his “taunt value,” making enemies more likely to target him, as well as improvements to the Follow-Up Attacks connected to his Talent. Blade’s newest buffs and Version 3.4 are currently expected to launch on July 2.
One aspect of Blade’s buffs will look to run on a similar premise to another character’s leaked buffs for the Version 3.4 update.Jingliu is rumored to see changesto her own kit to rely more heavily on HP for her abilities, with both characters featuring mechanics centering around draining HP to improve their attacks. Blade’s higher taunt values will also make him a greater target for enemies, allowing the Version 1.1 five-star unit to more easily gain stacks of his “Shufu’s Gift” passive Talent by taking damage.
Blade’s new buffs join a plethora of exciting characters said to be on the way forHonkai: Star Rail. HoYoverse has already confirmed the two characters set to feature on Version 3.3’s gacha banners, with Cipher coming as a new Quantum DPS whileHyacine will debut as a healerin the Remembrance Path.
