The Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device is a variation of a long line of enemies thatGenshin Impactplayers can find in Natlan. The Overseer Device is located over in the Atocpan and is quite isolated from the main mountain.

How To Find Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device In Genshin Impact
The Overseer Device is located on an isolated islandwest of the Atocpanregion. It’s unfortunately a little tiring swimming all the way, but once you reach the area, there will be a teleport waypoint you can unlock.
To get there, teleport to the waypoint on the westernmost edge of the mountain and glide all the way down to the shoreline. Once there, be on the lookout for someKoholasaurus to transform into. They will help you swim towards the island, and if you ever run out of Phlogiston, just pick up the elemental orbs along the water. Upon reaching the island, head straight and then go right to find the teleport waypoint. The boss will be a short glide away from it.
How To Defeat The Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device In Genshin Impact
There are a few attacks you need to watch out for when fighting this boss. Once you know what they are, it’s quite easy to spot them.
Sweeper Mode
This attack is the most important out of the lot and can be the hardest to dodge. The Overseer Device will enter a mode where it moves to the center of the arena and begins to shoot lasers whilst spinning around.You need a Cryo character at this point, since this is the only element that will effectively remove the Flow Momentum of the Overseer Device. If you don’t remove the Flow Momentum in time, theboss will spin faster and shoot more lasers, making it extremely difficult to dodge.
You can use characters like Ayaka, Kaeya, Wriothesley, Escoffier, andany other Cryo characterwho will deal consistent damage to remove the buff.
Charged Attack
This is a pretty simple charged attack that the Overseer Device will do, and it usually triggers when you’re at a distance. It’ll flap its wings out and then charge at you. The path is usually marked, so remember to move out of the way the moment it happens.
Whirlpool And Waterbomb
These are two different attacks and can occur at various times. The whirlpool will suck your active character into the center and deal damage. The waterbomb will summon a water circle barrier, and water bombs will be thrown at them. Both can be tricky to deal with, so you do need to keep an eye out for anyhydro attacks aimed at your feet. If you do accidentally get caught in one, make sure to either shield up or immediately heal.
