Where To Find The Chromatic Greatsword Cultist In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
The Chromatic Greatsword Cultist can be found inside Sirene. The party will enter the Sirene dungeon area as part of the story, and to find the boss, you must run past the dancers through the archway on the left - oppositethe Expedition 55 Journal.
Walk through the opening and descend to the lower platforms. Then, ride the floating platform to the next area, but take a left, and the Chromatic Greatsword Cultist will be waiting. It will attack on sight, so make sure the party is healed.

The Chromatic Greatsword Cultist is similar to the regular versions of the Greatsword Cultist, except it hits harder, faster, and has a much higher health bar. It will soak itself in blood and attack all party members witha six-hit combination that is difficult to parry, because it takes slight pauses in between the second half of its attack patterns.
It will also use a powerful jumping attack on a single party member, but these are less troublesome when it comes to parrying. It becomes more problematic when it casts up to nine shields on itself, absorbing all of the party’s attacks in one turn before they are depleted.
The Chromatic Greatsword cultist is vulnerable to Dark magic, so Sciel is a solid choice, or players can equip each party member with skills and weapons that utilize Dark attacks. Maelle’sBreaking Rulesskill is invaluable because it will wipe all of the boss’s shields and land significant damage. With the Shields down, hit the enemy with Verso’sBlitzattacks for an extra turn andPhantom Starsfor five hits.
