Running from one area to another can only take you so far, as the stamina bar depletes quite quickly. So, it’s recommended that players get their hands on a horse to make traveling around the map a lot easier. Now, you can either invest in a good horse at the start or get a free one as soon as you leave the sewer tutorial area.
How to Get a Free Horse in Oblivion Remastered Early
After players complete the sewer tutorial section ofOblivion Remastered, they’ll be able to freely explore the whole map without limitations. However, to do that without tiring your character out, you’ll need a horse. Gold can be hard to come by, at least at the start of the game, and horses do cost quite a lot. So, to make things easier on your gold pouch, there’s a way toget a free horse.
Head over to theChestnut Handy Stableslocated towards the west of Imperial City inOblivion Remastered. Enter the main building of the stables and talk to Snak gra-Bura, the owner. While talking to them, ensure to select the following dialogs.
After selecting the right dialog options,they’ll give players theOld Nag horse, outfitted with armor, free of charge. However, next time around, they’ll outfit any horse with armor for 500 gold. Now players can take their trusty steed anywhere on the map. Just ensure to protect the horse from any enemies around, as if it takes damage, it can die.
