The Seeker inRisk of Rain 2offers a unique playstyle that throws a little bit of everything into the mix. She can do almost everything that every other survivor can, from raining down sustained DPS onto enemies, to inflicting big bursts of AOE damage, providing healing to teammates, and even reviving friends that have fallen during a run.

Players who aren’t too fond of Seeker’s base abilities may like her alternative skills more. Much like other survivors, these alternate abilities significantly change how Seeker plays, and if you’renew toRisk of Rain 2, some of these skills might be more up your alley. Here’s how to unlock all of Seeker’s skills inRoR 2(without resorting to mods or cheats).

RoR 2 Seeker Soul Spiral skill

How to Unlock Soul Spirals (Airborne Souls Challenge)

Soul Spirals creates spiraling balls of energy around Seeker that damages anything they touch. It is arguably Seeker’s best DPS ability, especially when you geta good build going for it.

To get this, players need to finish the Airborne Souls challenge, which requires players to hit three or more airborne enemies with a single use of Spirit Punch. This should come naturally as you play Seeker, but if you want to get Soul Spirals ASAP, find aPrimordial Cubeand launch a group of enemies into the air with it. Punch the clump of enemies, and you’ll get Soul Spirals.

RoR 2 Seeker Sojourn skill

How to Finish Seeker’s Scorched Earth Challenge (Reprieve)

Scorched Earth requires players todeal 500,000% damage using Sojourn’s explosion. For those who didn’t know, Sojourn’s damage ramps up the longer you stay in it. The kicker here is that Sojourn drains your HP as long as you’re in flying spirit ball mode.

To finish Scorched Earth, you’ll want the following items:

We recommend doing this with the Artifact of Command, as you’ll need a lot of crowbars, watches, crystals, and RAPs. The latter is especially important as it will prevent you from taking damage from Sojourn itself.

About10 Crowbars and Focus Crystals should be enoughto get you to the 500,000% mark after flying for a few seconds. If you’re having trouble completing the challenge with just these items, add in the rest, and try to see if you can hit an enemy before Sojourn sucks your health bar dry.

RoR 2 Seeker Palm Blast unlock

This unlocks Reprieve, an alternate mobility skill that grants flight and barrier, though you need to have barrier in order to maintain flight. If you lose barrier or hit something, you create a cyclone that damages enemies and heals allies.

Artifact of Glass may also help you reach 500,000% damage more easily, but you’ll need to be extra mindful of Sojourn’s health drain since the artifact reduces your max health.

How to Finish Seeker’s Clear Mind Challenge (Palm Blast)

Clear Mind’s challenge is simple:use Meditate 20 times without missing a single input in a single run. There’s nothing special to do here, just focus on completing each use of Meditate without missing a beat until you get the challenge done.

There are a couple of things that you can do to make this easier, though:

Completing this challenge unlocks Palm Blast, which lets you launch a giant spirit palm that damages everything in its path. It also increases your Tranquility stacks if you hit more than three enemies with one cast.
