InDOOM The Dark Ages, Chapter 9: Ancestral Forge is one ofseveral levels with secret areasthat can only be unlocked with a Secret Key. These doors are always indicated with a glowing purple aura and the symbol of the Secret Key, and can be found throughout the level.
The Chapter 9 Secret Key can be found relatively fast if youknow where to go from the beginningof the level – but be prepared to fight a lot of demons to get to it. This guide explains where to find the Chapter 9 Secret Key inDOOM The Dark Agesand details all three secret door locations within the level.
DOOM The Dark Ages Chapter 9 Secret Key Location
To find the Chapter 9 Secret Key,DOOM The Dark Agesplayers should open their map at the very beginning of the level. You will see three combat hubs around the central heart – head toward the one on the right-hand side from the level start.
Once you arrive, you should see the Chapter 9 Secret Key floating above the combat arena. Defeat the waves of demons, then when the coast is clear, continue up the ramp to the right of the holographic Secret Key floating above you.
You will encounter another army of demons at the top of the ramp, along with a Leader demon who willgrant you increased Max Healthwhen defeated. After you clear the room, look to the left of the path you followed to get up to this area for a breakable wall. Shield Charge into the wall to find a few Gold pickups and the Chapter 9 Secret Key.

There are three secret doors players can find inDOOM The Dark AgesChapter 9. Two of these doors are relatively close to the Secret Key location, while the other can be found a little over halfway through the level.
