While traveling through the lands ofSkyrim, the Dragonborn can findvarious weapons. Most of them are common items, but some have unique names and abilities. In this guide, we will tell you how to get Soulrender and Bloodscythe inSkyrim.
Both of these weapons are scimitars. In appearance, they do not differ from other weapons of this type. However, when wielded together, they activate unique enchantments. But to find them, you will first have to find their owner.
Where to Find Soulrender and Bloodscythe
These weapons are unique, so they can only be found in a specific location in a single quantity. To be more precise, you first need toget to Solstheim. The island contains many secrets, many of which are very ancient. And to get Soulrender and Bloodscythe inSkyrim, you need to complete the Deathbrand quest.

It is important to note that both of these methods require players to belevel 36or higher. Otherwise, you will not be able to start the quest.
Next, you must explore all of Solstheim to find 4 pieces ofDeathbrand armor. Along with the last gear, you will also find the key to Gyldenhul Barrow. You will want to take the ancient Nordic pickaxe with you, since there will be Stalhrim in your way, preventing you from passing.
Going deeper into the Gyldenhul Barrow dungeon, you will reach a burial site where you will find the remains of Haknir Death-Brand. Next to it will be the first unique scimitar, namely Bloodscythe, inSkyrim. But as soon as you loot this place, the ghost of Haknir Death-Brand himself will appear. This battle can be a bit tricky, as the ghost will spawn other pirates from time to time. However, you should defeat him, as he drops the second scimitar - Soulrender.
Soulrender and Bloodscythe Ability
Individually, Soulrender and Bloodscythe are just good scimitars inSkyrim, as their stats are slightly higher than those of other weapons of this type. But when you wield them at the same time, you activate their unique abilities:
