While exploring the continent inClair Obscur: Expedition 33, players will stumble upon plenty of mysteries, grand and small, and more often than not, the game won’t handhold players to their solutions. While some hints are available to observant players,Clair Obscur: Expedition 33is all about exploration, encouraging players to search every nook and cranny of each new area to uncover secrets,find powerful pictos, and solve side quests with unique rewards.
The small but rewarding quest involving the Gestral kid named Purumi is one such example. Players can encounter this quest in the Gestral Village, but it’s easy to miss how to solve this small quest quickly and earn a cosmetic reward for one of Expedition 33’s members.
Where to Find Purumi and Alexsoundro in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Players can meet Alexsoundro and Purumi in Gestral Village, which they reach naturally during the main story ofClair Obscur: Expedition 33. The village itself is fairly large, so it will take some time to fully explore it and meet every funny Gestral who lives there. During exploration, players will find the Gestral Bazar, located to the left of the big Chief House in the center of the settlement.
After exploring the Bazar, players will meet one of the villagers, Gestral Alexsoundro, who stands under the large pillar overlooking the Bazar. Alexsoundro is very worried and asks players to help their kid, Purumi, get down from a high pillar. Here’s how to find the way to this lost Gestral child who isn’t that eager to return to their ‘parent.’
How to reach Gestral kid Purumi in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Players need to interact with Alexsoundro first before reaching and speaking to Purumi, otherwise the kid will refuse to get down from the pillar.
Luckily,the little Gestral kid we’re looking foris located nearby, overlooking the Gestral Bazar from above. The easiest way to reach small Purumi is to return to the Chief House entrance and go left from there, hugging the wall to the right of the players. Upon reaching the first fork, players should go right, into the small back alley, where they will find a shining rope. Take the rope up, and keep following the only available path, which involves a bit of jumping, grappling, and climbing, but don’t worry — it’s not difficult.
At the end of the pathway, players will find a Gestral kid, Purumi, sitting on the top of a single high pillar that’s accessible through jumping. Once again, if players don’t talk to Alexsoundro standing below the pillar first, talking to the kid will result in him refusing to come down. But interacting with the adult Gestral and returning to the lad should result in him finally agreeing to get down.

After that, all players need to do is return to Alexsoundro standing below the pillar (players can simply fall down without retracing their platforming steps) and talk to them.
