How to Rescue Chewbacca in Fortnite
to recruit Chewbacca as a follower inFortnite, players must first rescue him.Chewbacca canbe found at a random First Order Stormtrooper outpost located near Shiny Shafts,and are scattered around the upper left sections of the map, but the only way to know where Chewbacca has spawned is tocheck with the blue smokeemitted from a flare. This blue smoke appears at the start of the game, so it’s best to mark where Chewbacca is from the Battle Bus before dropping down. Since Chewbacca is fighting Stormtroopers at an outpost, it’s best to land here straight away as there will be a chest or two to loot, and then the Stormtroopers areeasy kills. Upon eliminating the last Stormtrooper, Chewbacca will roar triumphantly and join your squad until he is defeated or the squad is wiped out.

Once players have saved Chewbacca, he will drop a Bowcaster for players to collect. The Wookiee Bowcaster comes in a Legendary rarity, and it has quite the power behind it. The Wookiee Bowcaster fires individual bolts that deal 50 damage, but it can be charged to shoot a heavier explosive bolt that can deal over 100 damage with every shot. As an infinite ammo blaster that never overheats, this weapon could easily become a must-have for those who seek a long-range but slow-firing weapon.
