How to Get Entrepreneur Skill in The Sims 4

Skills represent hobbies and activitiesthat Sims can engage in, and as their skills increase, they unlock special social interactions, object actions, and buffs. Additionally, Sims must improve their skills to earn promotions in most careers. While many skills are available in the base game, some are only unlocked with downloadable content (DLC).

The Entrepreneur Skill is introduced inThe Sims 4: High School Years, allowing Sims to become self-starters.Sims can increase their Entrepreneur Skill by doing the following:

Odd Jobs

Odd Jobs are random gigs that Sims can pick up online for extra money.These tasks range from food delivery to cleaning businesses.

Sims can find Odd Jobs using their phone under the Business app. Select “Find Odd Jobs” and choose from the pop-up menu. Odd Jobs are rabbit holes, and Sims will leave when it’s time for the job and return once it’s completed.

Freelance Careers

Freelance Careers offer more consistent workcompared to Odd Jobs.Sims can join a Freelance Career by using a computer, cellphone, or the Career Panel at the bottom of the screen and selecting “Join Career.”

Sims can become freelance artists, writers, programmers, photographers, crafters (Eco LifestyleDLC), orparanormal investigators (Paranormal StuffDLC). After choosing a trade, Sims can “Check for Gigs” using their cellphone or a computer.

Gigs can be canceled at any time, but Sims won’t earn any Entrepreneur points if they cancel.

Entrepreneur Skill Levels in The Sims 4

TheEntrepreneur Skill is considered a minor skill, so it levels up faster than major skills. There are five levels, each granting new abilities:
