This quest can only be activated once players complete the previous quest,Whodunit?After, players are given the Rose of Sithis that will help them in their task. It’s also a great idea to bring along a Bow. Any sort of Bow will work, as the Rose of Sithis will ensure it’s a one-shot kill.

How to Kill Adamus Phillida with the Rose of Sithis in Oblivion Remastered

The easiest way to kill Adamus Phillida is to head to Leyawiin and wait by the large pond found inside Leyawiin’s main gate.Between the hours of 3-8 PM, Adamus Phillida will take off his armor and go for a swimin the pond, which provides players with a 5-hour window to equip a Bow and equip the Rose of Sithis and kill him. The Rose of Sithis does not hurt enemies wearing armor, and so it’s vital that players wait until Adamus Phillida is in his undergarments and starts swimming.

When Adamus is swimming, enter into sneak in and remain undetected by hugging the walls of the houses by the pond, and then aim your shot at Adamus. Shooting Adamus anywhere on his body with the Rose of Sithis will instantly kill him, but it’s advised to create a quicksave just in case you miss your shot or you get detected after the kill.

How to Get the Bonus from Permanent Retirement in Oblivion Remastered

Once Adamus Phillida is dead, players will want to swim towards his corpse to loot it. Players can pick up an assortment of keys (grab the Imperial Watch Office Key toavoid lockpicking) and the Rose of Sithis, but the mostimportant thing to collect for the bonus reward is the Finger of AdamusPhillida. With this finger, it’s time to travel to the Prison District of the Imperial City and locate the Imperial Legion Offices. Players will want towait between 1 AM to 3 AMto open the Imperial Legion Offices to avoid any patrolling guards, and once inside, players will need to place the Finger of Adamus Phillida in the desk.

After the Finger of Adamus Phillida has been placed in the desk of the Imperial Legion Offices, it’s time to leave an head back to Ocheeva in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary found in the Abandoned House in Cheydinhal. After speaking with Ocheeva, she will provide players with their reward, but it’s nothing special. Thebonus reward for delivering the Finger of Adamus Phillida to the Imperial Legion Offices is 500 Gold.
